Summer Darkness, the dark alternative festival taking place in Utrecht, The Netherlands, opened its doors yesterday. The opening concert was given by Schwarzblut in the wonderful setting of the Leeuwenbergh Church. In the Helling venue, the atmosphere was very hot, with acts like Chrysalide, Diorama, Grendel, Xotox etc. We had the opportunity to meet Torben Wendt, of Diorama, for an exclusive video interview backstage. Incubate is the annual celebration of cutting-edge culture. It is a festival exhibiting a diverse view on indie culture as a whole, including music, visual arts, film and contemporary dance, and a conference. It brings more than 200 cutting edge artists in an intimate context to an international audience. Black metal next to free jazz.
