Hanin Elias, a living Icon of the 90ies, Riot Girl, Front Woman, Founding member of Atari Teenage Riot and labelfounder of Fatal Recordings.
Now Hanin returns with a new album Called “Get it back”. The long-awaited and much anticipated album is a bridge between Elias’s familiar digital hardcore style and her newfound explorations in other genres.
While she lived in French Polynesia on a small island in the south pacific for five years she worked on new material with Chilean musician Diego Sagredo (ICI) who invited her for shows in Santiago.
Influences are widely spread and unpredictable as always. Hanin Elias wants her listeners to have an open mind and a open heart for all kinds of musical directions. On the Album we have the opener “Get it Back” with her guitarist and Bandmember Marcel Degaz(Die Krupps), and also a new version with the Berlin based Group Mutfak of “You Suck”.
Both songs are inspired by Electro, No Wave and Dubstep. Hanin Elias’s vocals take on new grace with the melodic, gothic workings of “Melancholia,” a fitting title for the somber, downtempo side of the album also found in Tying Tiffanyeuphoric mix of 2001’s “Future Noir.”Dead Eyes” with Velvet Underwear’s Yeti Popstar is a real dancefloor smasher with co-vocalist Mismeriser from Paris
” The well known “Riot” girl side of the artist is reflected in songs like “Axis shifting” with Sindaddy and “Do You know!!!” with Diego Sagredo has scream-rapping, an ode to her digital hardcore past. A collabaration with Chilean based industrial artistVigilantewith the track “New Order” also shows that Hanin has still political messages in her music.
“I want you” is a collaboration with a Tahitian Band Tikahiri, very known in French Polynesia. This song has a very erotic vibe.
The Song “Money” is a Flying Lizard Cover, absolutely cold and dancable! The Dead Eyes remix by Lorenzo Montana and Hanin Elias was spontaneously created during the mastering process and became a new version of the song that could be best described as rockstep.
Peek-A-Boo is already waiting for this (we’re sure of this!) godlike-release.
Next month will see the light of the newest Genocide Organ, the meisters of power-electronics and it’ll be released on TESCO.
The latest new Genocide Organ album dates back to 2005.
Six years later the world is challenged by well-known old and antic patterns and presumed economic reasons. Just like always, it are people who seeked more than money and that’s what the new record is about, the overall topic of mercenary or more.
Like always Genocide Organ´s music is straight forward - expanding all genres and categories.
A powerful assault and aggressive undertone interchanges with a dense depressive mood.
All tracks are new but have been partly played live during their last live appearance..
One of our fave synthpopbands are back, their name: Mesh!
"A Perfect Solution", their latest album was surely one of the highlight releases of recent years. The boys from Bristol showcased both their club and alternative influences, creating a masterpiece caught between accessible beauty and bitter melancholy. Up next is "An Alternative Solution", a remix album with several unusual characteristics.
"We didnt want to have big bands as remixers, but just friends we know personally, and who we know like our music, and with whom we have a relationship" says Mesh singer Mark Hockings. "The status of the remixers was secondary, the important thing was that the mixes were good. A friend will do a better mix for you than someone who is just getting a little cash for it."
All eleven tracks from "A Perfect Solution" get the remix treatment here, and the remix album retains the original´s track order as well. In spite of its unconventional approach, Mesh have assembled an illustrious lineup of remixers from friendships built up over the bands 15 year history, including Iris, Portion Control, Zeromancer, Parralox, and Assemblage 23.

"An Alternative Solution" is to be released May 20th on Dependent record. There is also a limited edition containing a bonus CD with additional remixes and rare tracks.
"Computer Love" (or "Computerliebe" in German) was released in July 1981 as a single of the studio album Computer World, which was released that same year. The song, released on a double A-sided single along with "The Model", went on to become number one in the UK Singles Chart and reached the 13th position in the U.S.Hot Dance Club Play Billboard.
Besides the shorter original 7” single version, the original 12” version of "Computer Love" is a different version than the one originally found on the 1981 Computer World album.
The song was re-arranged and re-recorded for the band's 1991 studio album The Mix.
The melody of "Computer Love" was used in 2005 by Coldplay for their single "Talk". Apparently, Coldplay singer Chris Martin asked Kraftwerk for approval prior to its release.
Computer Love (Lyrics)
Another lonely night, lonely night
Stare at the TV screen, the TV screen
I don't know what to do, what to do
I need a rendezvous, rendezvous
I call this number, call this number
For a data date, data date
I don't know what to do, what to do
I need a rendezvous, rendezvous
