Eastern Front‘s third album entitled EmpirE will be released on Cacophonous Records on 30th September 2016. EmpirE focuses on the concept of building an empire through bloodshed and devastation, and is the first record to feature their new vocalist Marder, female and ferocious. Black metal titan Dani Filth also features as a special guest on the album and fully supports the Ipswich based band and their inclusion in the Cacophonous family.
Due to circumstances outside of their control, Cacophonous had to postpone the release of Dimmu Borgir’s Stormblast re-issue. A new release date will be announced soon. Bal-Sagoth’s Battle Magic will drop one week later than originally scheduled, so will now be released on 16th September.

Door omstandigheden buiten hun controle, diende Cacophonous de release van Stormblast, een Dimmu Borgir re-issue, uit te stellen. Een nieuwe releasedatum wordt weldra aangekondigd. Batlle Magic, een Bal-Sagoth re-issue, komt er een week later dan voorzien en wordt dus op 16 september wereldkundig gemaakt.

This time the star producer worked with Andrea Kerr who you might know from Colt or Living With Eating Disorders.

For those who need a reminder: The Beat were along with The Specials and The Selecter one of the most important ska bands in the 80s. This month The Beat releases a new record.

Walhalla Records releases album by Belgian minimimal synth band Enzo Kreft
Walhalla Records, the label of Belgian 80's minimal synth announce the vinyl release of Enzo Kreft: the pseudonym of Eric Vandamme.
This visual artist and musician from Mechelen made two obscure tapes in the first half of the 80s which are now a collector among the fans of the genre.
Dark music which is made with instruments like a Korg MS-10, a monophonic synth Yamaha, a Crumar Trilogy keyboard, a Sound Master SR-88 Rhtyhm box, a Roland TR-606 drum machine, tape loops and an electric guitar.
Dark Matter contains the main tracks from Me Is from 1983 (Beauty Queen and Erotic Fantaseesz) and Cicatrice from 1984.

In twenty years time VNV Nation managed to become the biggest in its genre. Year after year, the two Britons were headliner at almost every alternative festival. During the Compendium-tour Ronan Harris and Mark Jackson look back on their successful career with a 3 hour show that features the best of twenty years VNV Nation.
