SYNOPSIS
Het derde seizoen opent met Selina die, met het oog op een promotie, de stemmers in de Iowa Caucus voor zich probeert te winnen terwijl ze haar boek Some New Beginnings Soon signeert. Kort daarna horen Selina en haar staf dat Minister Maddox van Defensie aftreedt. Een mogelijkheid voor Selina om zich kandidaat te stellen in de presidentiële voorverkiezingen tegen Maddox, en haar aartsvijand, oorlogsveteraan Danny Chung.
In de loop van de tien afleveringen van dit seizoen zetten Selina en haar medewerkers een kantoor op in D.C. om de campagnemogelijkheden te verkennen. Zoals steeds laat Veep treffend zien hoe zelfs de kleinste beslissing in Washington repercussies heeft, met grote en onverwachte gevolgen.
