The hobbit Bilbo Baggins, the wizard Gandalf and 13 dwarfs, led by Thorin Oakenshield, continue their journey to reclaim the Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor. Along the way, they encounter the skin-changer Beorn; giant Spiders of Mirkwood; Wood-elves led by Legolas, Tauriel and King Thranduil; and a mysterious Man named Bard, who smuggles them into Lake-town. Finally reaching the Lonely Mountain, they face their greatest danger--the Dragon Smaug.

SYNOPSIS
In The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug vervolgen we de avonturen van hoofdpersoon Bilbo Balings (Martin Freeman), die samen met de tovenaar Gandalf (Sir Ian McKellen) en dertien dwergen, aangevoerd door Thorin Eikenschild (Richard Armitage), op weg is naar de Eenzame Berg in het verloren dwergenrijk Erebor. Nadat ze het begin van hun onverwachte reis hebben overleefd, trekt de groep verder naar het oosten. Onderweg krijgen ze onder andere te maken met de huidverwisselaar Beorn en een zwerm reuzenspinnen in het verraderlijke Demsterwold.
Nadat ze op een haar na ontsnapt zijn aan gevaarlijke boselfen, reizen ze via Meerstad naar de Eenzame Berg. Daar moeten ze de strijd aanbinden met het allergrootste gevaar, het meest angstaanjagende wezen aller tijden: de draak Smaug. Niet alleen hun moed, maar ook hun vriendschap en de zin van de tocht worden hier bijzonder zwaar op de proef gesteld...

Dunkelziffer is one of the scenes most influential electro band's sixth studio album. Gigs, festivals and tours carried the name [:SITD:] around the world. Their club hits as Snuff Machinery, Laughingstock, Richtfest I & II, Kreuzgang and Rot are milestones, and timeless classics on international dance floors. In [:SITD:]'s cosmos various electronic styles melt into a sinister fascinating opus with an unmistakable signature. Their equally sweeping and hymnlike melodies, supported by hammering beats and driving grooves, have become a unique trademark. The three protagonists Carsten Jacek, Tom Lesczenski, and Francesco D'Angelo reinvent themselves time and again without denying their musical roots. With Dunkelziffer the trio presents itself at the peak of their creative endeavors.
Gloomily, powerfully, and morbidly the new songs amount to a menacing thunderstorm, while the lyrics keep digging heavily and deeply in the furtive, ruthlessly revealing the abyss of the human psyche. On 10/31/2014, Dunkelziffer will be released at Scanner/ Dark Dimensions in three different formats: As a regular cd, a very limited double cd (in a beautiful digipak including a Hellfeld bonus cd with 10 exclusive tracks, in addition to a special for all collectors and friends of analogue listening experiences on vinyl (in 2 different colors). Furthermore, the Ruhr Area band filmed a video for the title song with director Boris May (Klangstabil). It will be available on all established portals on the release date.
The release will be supported by a tour (together with label mates BhamBhamHara as special guests) in November and December 2014.
London-based three-piece The Wharves have shared a second track from their upcoming debut, At Bay. Featuring intricate guitars, soaring harmonies and the addition of a foreboding male vocal choir, 'The Grip' recalls the labyrinthian structures of Fleetwood Mac, Stealing Sheep and Sleater-Kinney's The Woods' era. The Wharves combine gracefully minimal psyche-rock with fuzzed out folk. Their songwriting remains consistently rich throughout At Bay largely due to the startling harmonies of Gemma Fleet (bass) and Dearbhla Minogue (guitar) bonding each of the albums 13 tracks. The glorious production courtesy of Rory Attwell (The Vaccines, Mazes, Veronica Falls) makes for one of 2014’s most unique debuts.
They invoke the reverberated spook of 60s girl groups, the mid-fi guitar crunch of Kim Deal’s The Amps, the vocal flavours of The Roches and the narrative and structural panache of 70's progressive folk. Marion Andrau’s thunderous drumming drives through these compositions, ensuring the wealth of disparate influences remain focused and celebratory.
