On 29th September Blancmange are set to release a new album written and recorded by Neil Arthur and co-produced by Benge (Wrangler/John Foxx & The Maths and Gazelle Twin co-producer). They say it’s been a fantastically creative period for both of them, releasing their debut album as a new electronic duo – Fader’s 'First Light' - in June 2017 and then the final sessions for Unfurnished Rooms followed immediately in the Summer.
For the new Blancmange album all the songs were written by Arthur while Benge added percussion and layers of analogue synth with the pair then mixing the record together in the latter’s Memetune studios in Cornwall. 'Don't Get Me Wrong' features John Grant on piano and backing vocals. It’s said to be a fantastic closing track on a record which explores some solitary, introspective thoughts but always with humour and compassion.
Meanwhile, Blancmange will play headline UK shows in October and play W-Festival (August) & BIMFEST (15th December) in Belgium.

Beide heren zeggen dat het een fantastische creatieve periode achter de rug hebben, waarin het debuutalbum 'First light', als het nieuw elektronisch duo Fader uitkwam en de meteen daaropvolgend de opname en release van Unfurnished Rooms.
Voor het nieuwe Blancmange-album werden alle nummers door Arthur geschreven, terwijl Benge percussie en lagen analoge synthesizers toegevoegde. Daarna gingen beiden de plaat afmixen in de Memetune-studio's van Cornwall. 'Do Not Get Me Wrong' wordt gekenmerkt door John Grant op piano en backing vocals. Er wordt gezegd dat dit een fantastische afsluitende track is op een plaatje die de eenzaamheid en introspective gedachten verkent maar altijd met een vleugje humor en mededogen.
Ondertussen speelt Blancmange in oktober een Britse tour en spelen zij in België op het W-Festival in augustus en op BIMFEST in december..
Singer/composer/artists Tonya Pugh, better know as TZA and lead singer from PRGRM, has been found dead on Friday, July 21st. Besides her own electronic rock band PRGRM, she was also an active member/keyboard player with Dismantled since 2009.
Earlier that same day Dismantled announced on their official Facebook page they are no longer affiliated with TZA and had to cut all ties with her... what might suggest she was suffering from a heavy mental breakdown.
TZA resided in Calexio (California,US) while most of her family lives in Oregon US.
Her sister Brandi Marlene has set up a gofundme campaign since her family has gone through a great deal of loss already the last month with the passing of 3 other members of their family.
With this campaign she wants to bring her sister home to put her to rest properly.

De Amerikaanse zangeres / componist / artiest Tonya Pugh, beter bekend als TZA en zangeres van PRGRM, is afgelopen vrijdag 21 juli uit het leven gestapt. Naast vele andere projecten en haar eigen elektronische rockband PRGRM was zij ook een actief lid / keyboard speler bij Dismantled sinds 2009.
Eerder diezelde dag, had Dismantled op hun officiële Facebook pagina aangekondigd dat zij afstand hadden genomen van TZA en alle banden hadden doorgesneden … wat er wijst dat TZA die dag met zware mentale problemen te kampen had.
TZA woonde in Calexia (Californië, VS), terwijl de meeste van haar familie leden in Oregon wonen.
Omdat de familie de afgelopen maanden al 3 andere familieleden moest afstaan heeft haar zus Brandi Marlene heeft een gofundme campagne opgezet om haar zus alsnog naar huis over te kunnen brengen om haar aldaar te begraven.

Black Line is the brand new project, which emerged out of the mind-melt of some of the most legendary artists and bands around and who earned their medals in the Industrial & E.B.M. (Electronic Body Music) music world.
As a constantly evolving collective, of mostly in Los Angeles-based artists, Black Line is led by the iconic singer and Nitzer Ebb founder Douglas McCarthy and producer Cyrus Rex. A clear and elaborate follow-up to the previous DJM | REX project of the two aforementioned.

Industrial Goth/Rock band PORN is back with their third album : The Ogre inside
PORN is back with their third album : The Ogre Inside. After the release of their second album in 2011, a remixes and cover album in 2015, the French gothic-metal /industrial-rock band returns.
Six years on from the previous album, but Philippe Deschemin, the leader of the controversial combo, did not just sit around. He published a SyFy novel : Contoyen (including the concept of The Ogre Inside) , two short-stories, released an album with his gothic-rock-indus-metal side project : An Erotic End of Times this very year and now PORN is ready to rock on again.
