On 26th September Dirk Da Davo said farewell to The Neon Judgement at the AB, but not of his musical career ! Along with Glenn Keteleer, Dirk is still busy with Neon Electronics.
The new single (Crash / Overtime) is a collaboration with the Dutchman Formshift ( Gavin Bucktrout ). The single of that collaboration will be released on 25th January on their Dirk’s own label DanceDelicD.com.

Since years Lizard Smile is one of the few goth rock groups in Flanders. Last year this Antwerp trio played at Black Easter (Antwerp), as well as in London.
During the next three months you can see them twice. It already was announced that they are the support act of 1919 at the B52 (Eernegem-Belgium), on 29th January. Now another concert is announced at Kinky Star (Ghent)

Reeds jaren is Lizard Smile één van de weinige gothrockgroepen in Vlaanderen. Vorig jaar speelden dit Antwerpse trio nog op Black Easter, alsook in Londen. Tijdens de komende drie maanden kun je ze twee keer aan het werk zien. Eerder was al aangekondigd dat ze in de B52 op 29 januari het voorprogramma van 1919 zijn, nu is er ook een optreden in het Gentse muziekcafé Kinky Star.
De band staat er op 11 maart op het podium, en naar goede Kinky Star-gewoontes is dat gratis!
In the beginning And Also The Trees was noticed because their debut album was produced by Lol Tolhurst of The Cure, but in 35 years a lot has happened.
The band from Inkberrow became one of the main dark wave bands, even though nowadays they have a different sound that comes close to Tindersticks.
For years And Also The Trees was a regular guest in Belgium. On 30th March they’ll play again in Schaerbeek, Brussels

De band uit Inkberrow mag zich met trots één van de belangrijkste darkwavebands noemen, ook al gaan ze tegenwoordig meer in de richting van Tindersticks uit.
Reeds jaren zijn zij een reguliere gast in het Belgische concertleven, en daar komt op 30 maart een vervolg op. And Also The Trees speelt dan in Schaarbeek.

The Sisters Of Mercy never were so popular in Belgium as now.
Last year, they sold out the Trix in Antwerp, and was also their gig at the AB on Sunday, 20th March was sold out in no time.
Perhaps Andrew Eldritch just needs a fat piggy bank, as today an extra concert was announced.
On 21st March there is another concert at the AB.

Blijkbaar zijn The Sisters Of Mercy nog nooit zo populair geweest op de Belgische podia dan nu.
Verleden jaar verkochten ze zonder enige moeite de Antwerpse Trix uit, en ook hun optreden in de AB op zondag 20 maart was in een mum van tijd uitverkocht. Wellicht heeft Andrew Eldritch nood aan een vet spaarvarkentje, want vandaag werd er een extra concert op maandag 21 maart in de AB aangekondigd.
Je weet ondertussen wel dat snel zijn de boodschap is!
