Collection of material from 1978-1982 from one of the industrial world's most interesting groups.

Although Controlled Bleeding has been and always will be lumped into the genre of old school industrial music, their earliest inspirations were steeped in the first wave of New York City punk bands like The Dictators, Dead Boys, the Ramones and the brooding technical brilliance of King Crimson, Mahavishnu Orchestra and Henry Cow.

This collection of music from the early formations of the group, infused with the hunger and intensity of youth, clearly illustrates the collision of these seemingly opposing influences.

Recordings from 1978-1982, assembled by main man Paul Lemos capture the different early eras of Controlled Bleeding. An incredible peak back into the early days of "anything goes" alternative music.

A ride through history, from America to Russia, John F. Kennedy, and Marilyn Monroe until Steve Jobs: the time, destiny and history, life and death, war and peace, destruction and rebuilding, crime and victims, a series of links to different realities… this is the first explosive new album of CHEMICAL WAVES!!!

CHEMICAL WAVES is a project of Marco Cattani, a former member of the electronic band "Halo effect".

This side project was born from desire to develop a different sound, the desire to experiment and exploring a new musical form, a deep and intense sound running throught dark atmospheres and obsessive rhythms.
All songs use some samples that replace the vocals line.

With the conclusion of other remaining projects and collaborations, there’s no focus other than dirk serries’ongoing exploration of minimalism. four years in the making and undoubtly fuelled by his 2009 debut and previous mainstays vidnaObmana and fear falls burning, this second microphonics studio album is a heartbreaking symphony of echoing themes, wailing overtones and beautiful desolation. microphonics xxi-xxv, subtitled ‘mounting among the waves, there’s a light in vein. the burden of hope across thousands of rivers’ does hint towards an emotional statement, one that boldly goes beyond what previously achieved.

microphonics xxi-xxv will be out on march 16, as a limited edition double 10inch in a numbered gatefold sleeve (150 copies on white vinyl, 300 copies on black vinyl), complete with a cd copy of the album, and a cd in a deluxe mini album gatefold sleeve. copies can be pre-ordered now from our tonefloat store.

Dirk Serries' is currently undertaking a tour that brings him to most countries of southern europe. the songs are shaping up to much acclaim of the audience. dirk wil return to the north for a series of shows starting with the official release show at trix, in antwerp. to celebrate this release show we will be releasing a marbled edition of the double 10inch (plus cd) version that will be exclusively available during this show and is being pressed in a strictly limited edition of 50 copies only! another good reason to visit trix on march the 16th.
