The legendary noise band Swans announced a new album : Glowing Man which will appear on June 17, 1016 on Mute. The clip below provides a preview of the new CD.
The new CD also will be available with a DVD that features a live concert of 2015. Swans was founded in 1982 by Michael Gira and returned in 1997 after a split with strong records like My Father Will Guide Me Up A Rope To The Sky, The Seer and To Be Kind. The band announced a US and European tour (in Belgium on October 6 at the AB, Brussels), but first you can see Gira solo on April 13, also at the AB.

De nieuwe cd zal ook als een cd met dvd beschikbaar zijn met daarop een liveconcert van Swans uit 2015.

Now we know! On 29th April 29 Vision : Libertine - The Hangman 's Triad will be out on Out Of Line. It is a double CD, which is also available on vinyl, as well as a limited edition wooden box containing a bonus CD (No Festival Of Neither Light Order Roses Nor Equilibrium).

Victor Love of Dope Stars Inc will release his new solo album Technomancy on 6th May on Metropolis Records. Each track on the album is a collaboration between Victor and other artists such as KMFDM, Deathstars, Army of the Universe, Spiritual Front and more.
Here is the first single off the album called Bitchcraft. It is a collaboration between Victor and KMFDM.

Rise, the third Projekt release from Belgian soundsculptor Stratosphere (a.k.a. Ronald Mariën), is a world of shimmering drones, engaging post-rock, and quiet passionate ambient.
The album displays an expansive emotional palette; the darker sounds are less harsh and, dare we say, optimistic. The difficult period of Mariën’s life now behind him, a new dawn has risen and is audible in his music.
Rise is seven tracks within the post-rock sound Mariën has traversed his entire career. Mysterious and mournful, the guitar-based moods of Rise have a sense of hopefulness — a calm sky opening after dark, difficult storms.
Rise, het derde album op het Projekt label van de Belgische geluid beeldhouwer Stratosphere (ook bekend als Ronald Mariën), is een wereld van glinsterende drones, boeiende post-rock, en rustige gepassioneerde ambient.
Het album is een expansieve emotioneel palet; donkere geluiden die minder hard zijn en, als we het mogen zeggen, optimistisch.
De moeilijke periode in het leven van Mariën ligt nu achter hem. Er is een nieuwe dageraad en dit is hoorbaar in zijn muziek. Rise is zeven tracks binnen de post-rock die Mariën in zijn hele carrière heeft doorlopen. Mysterieus en treurig, de gitaar-gebaseerde stemmingen van Rise hebben een gevoel van optimisme - een blauwe, kalme hemel die zicht opent na een donkere, zware storm.
Divine is one of the biggest cult stars of the 80s. The transvestite was discovered by cult director John Waters, and later the famous producer Bobby O made Divine a hit celebrity with masterful disco tunes like Native Love (Step By Step), Shoot Your Shot and Love Reaction (which is actually a blueprint New Order’s Blue Monday).
Later Divine worked with the producer trio Stock Aitken Waterman, which resulted in hits such as You Think You're a Man or Walk Like A Man, until the artist died in 1988. All the hits of Divine are now compiled on one CD: Shoot Your Shot - The Divine Anthology and is released by Cherry Red Records.

De muziek van Divine bevindt zich tussen heerlijke kitsch en meesterlijke disco. De eerste singles van Divine zijn zonder twijfel de beste: Native Love (Step By Step), Shoot Your Shot en Love Reaction (wat eigenlijk een blauwdruk New Orders Blue Monday is).
Nadien werd Divine opgevist door het producerstrio Stock, Aitken & Waterman, wat resulteerde in hits zoals You Think You’re a Man of Walk Like A Man, tot Divine overleed in 1988.
Alle hits van Divine zijn nu verzameld op één cd: Shoot Your Shot – The Divine Anthology en uitgebracht door Cherry Red Records.
