Lavi Ebbel is back. Three years ago the Belgian band already released the compilation Guns and Crêpe Flambée, but now founder Luckas Vander Taelen is working on a new CD.
Today Lavvi Ebbel consists of Kloot Per W who is replacing the deceased bassist Francis Gheys, drummer Erik De Wit, on guitars Chris Van Ransbeeck and Marc De Wit, on piano Bea Van Ransbeeck and as singers Kristien D' Haeger and (of course) Luckas Vander Taelen, plus the trumpeter Jan Weuts.
There is new single out: Wir Schaffen Das!, and of course that is a nod to the famous statement of Angela Merkel.

Blijkbaar heeft Luckas Vander Taelen er volop zin, want de band werkt aan een nieuwe cd.

Er is ondertussen een nieuwe single: Wir Schaffen Das!, en dat is natuurlijk een knipoog naar de beroemde uitspraak van Angela Merkel.

Les Disques du Crepuscule releases a CD by The Names with very rare material.
Names In Mutation includes the first solo cassette by guitarist Marc Deprez that is released in April 1981.
100 copies were made of Balade à Tervueren, and the similarity to The Durutti Column is striking. The track was also included on the Crépuscule video tape Umbrellas in the Sun.
Furthermore you will find on this album a series of live recordings (under the name Names In Mutation, because it was the dark side of the band) of a gig at the Beursschouwburg in Brussels on 3rd February 1982.

Op Names In Mutation vind je allereerst de solocassette die gitarist Marc Deprez in april 1981 uitbracht.
Er werden 100 exemplaren van Balade à Tervueren gemaakt, en de gelijkenis met The Durutti Column is treffend. De track stond ook de Crépuscule videotape Umbrellas in the Sun.
Verder vind je op deze cd ook een resem liveopnames (onder de naam Names In Mutation, omdat het de donkere kant van de band was) van het optreden in de Brusselse Beursschouwburg op 3 februari 1982.

Good news for the lovers of the apocalyptic music by Exit Strategy. Very soon Dead Zone, a brand new track from Exit Strategy will be released and there will be also a new EP later in 2016.
Er is goed nieuws voor de liefhebbers van de apocalyptische muziek van Exit Strategy. Binnenkort verschijnt Dead Zone, een gloednieuwe track van deze band en in 2016 komt er ook een nieuwe EP.
