Since the beginning, a distinguishing feature of Iszoloscope has been the addition of intelligent and unexpected details to the basic ingredients that industrial music is known for. For the seventh album False Vacuum, Yann Faussurier raises the bar in a most astounding way.
Within these nine tracks Iszoloscope is establishing ties between a myriad of different styles ranging from solemn orchestral constructs and rich dark ambient soundscapes to sequenced hard-hitting technoid industrial rhythms and fast remorseless drum and bass beat structures. Mighty pulsating sub basses and loony melodic curls, hypnotic percussion and carefully placed bursts of electronics evoke highly energetic atmospheres of power and tension that resonate inside the listener's mind.
Accompanied by many personal changes it took Iszolocsope nearly four years to complete this opus, and after taking a deep view everyone will agree it was worth waiting for. Highly recommended.
Al sinds het begin is het kenmerkend voor Iszoloscope dat bezieler Yann Faussurier intelligente en onverwachte details toevoegt aan de basisingrediënten van industriële muziek. Met dit zevende album False Vacuum heeft Yann de lat nog wat hoger gelegd dan bij zijn vorige releases.
Binnen de negen nummers verweeft Iszoloscope een groot aantal verschillende stijlen, variërend van orkestraal en ambient soundscapes tot industriële ritmes en snel meedogenloze drum and bassritmes, alsook hypnotiserende percussie en zorgvuldig geplaatste uitbarstingen van elektronica.
Het duurde bijna vier jaar om dit opus te voltooien, maar iedereen is het ermee eens dat het het wachten waard was!
Wire is still alive. That was proved by the quartet during their last European tour , but there also will be a new record of Wire. On 22nd April Nocturnal Koreans will be released on Colin Newman’s Swim label. The post-punk legend shares their new single via SoundCloud!

Body Beats almost completed the full lineup of BIMFest 2016. The names will follow later, but as the festival always had an eye for new talent, therefore there is still space for two Belgian acts that will open the festival.
Who will that be? That’ll be decided during the pre-selection on 4th and 18th June 18 in the Kavka, Antwerp.

+ You must be available on one of the pre selection days.
+ You must be available on 16th and 17th December for BIMFest.
Bodybeats is bijna klaar met de volledige line-up van BIMFest 2016. De namen volgen later, maar het festival heeft altijd oog gehad voor nieuw talent en daarom is er nog plaats voor twee Belgische acts die het festival zullen mogen openen.
Wie dat mag worden, zal tijdens de preselectie op 4 en 18 juni in de Kavka worden bepaald.

Earlier, the classic album LC by The Durutti Column 1981 already has been released as a double CD, but there is also good news for vinyl junkies , because from May 2016 on, Factory Benelux will publish LC as a double vinyl edition. The second record contains singles and tracks from the Factory Quartet, two exclusive live recordings and a bonus single. For the real fans there is a limited signed edition.
Eerder verscheen de klassieker LC van The Durutti Column uit 1981 al als dubbel-cd, maar er is ook goed nieuws voor de vinyljunks, want vanaf mei 2016 is er op Factory Benelux tevens een dubbel vinyl-uitgave. From the 13th until the 16th of May, the Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig celibrates its 25th edition.
The organisation also asked visitors to be on time for the Grand opening on thursday at „AbenteuerReich BELANTIS“ - the amusement park in the south of Leipzig, from 8:00 p.m.
- DJs present sets in various styles in different locations throughout the park
- 27-hectares amusement park with eight different „thematic worlds“ from the „Valley of the Pharaohs“ to the „Isle of Knights“.
- all fairground rides open until midnight, e.g. the whitewater ride „Curse of the Pharaoh“ through a pyramid, the rollercoaster Huracan“ with free fall from a height of 32 metres and many more

De organisatoren vragen tevens om de opening van donderdag niet te missen in „AbenteuerReich BELANTIS“ - het amusementspark in het zuidelijke deel van Leipzig, en dat vanaf 20u.
