Red Zebra were from Bruges, and with their unique sound they can claim to be the Joy Division (along with Siglo XX) of the lowlands.
The first records are collectors now, so there was plenty of demand for a compilation. And yes, it comes!
On 5th February 5 Starman Records releases The Beauties and the Beast with the legendary work that they recorded between 1980 and 1983 , and also some rarities !

Recently Peek-A-Boo was impressed by the debut album of System Overthrow. The band has a video out and of course we’d like to show you this one! The band informs us that they’ll play at Headbanger's Balls Fest 2016 and in the venue 'T Sok in Izegem (Belgium) on 7th May.
Peek-A-Boo was al sterk onder de indruk van de debuutplaat van System Overthrow. De band heeft een video uit, en die willen je graag voorstellen. De band meldt ons tevens dat zij op het podium van Headbanger's Balls Fest 2016 zullen staan, alsook in 'T Sok in Izegem op 7 mei.
If we continue this trend, then it seems like we can go every weekend to some dark party. Maybe your agenda is already filled, but you better make some place on 23rd April because K-Bereit will play in Belgium.
Of course you know the French band because of Dominique Lallement who formed in 1996 with Jean- Luc De Meyer Cobalt 60. In 2002 he founded with Fred Sebastien K-Bereit. In 2013 Fred left the band and was replaced by the manager Drey.
K-Bereit is pure EBM and industrial electro. The gig is in Retie (Belgium) at JK2470 as a part of The Darkest Night. Soon, two more acts will be announced.

The new year has arrived, and loyal readers surely will notice a few changes, as our magazine wants to fully support the organizers and the musicians from the underground scene.
You all know the Peek- A-Boo calendar in which you can find the information of who plays where, but we also will regularly put some concerts in the spotlight in our news section that are worth a visit.
The first concert that has a check mark in our agenda is the double bill of Stin Scatzor and Obszön Geschöpf.
We no longer need to introduce the industrials deafening beats of Stefan Bens and Kris Peeters. Those who ever saw the duo on stage , know what an energy these two produce!
A bit less known (but not less interesting) are Obszön Geschöpf who will present their seventh album ( The Vault of Nightmares ).
The indus party is in Bruges at the Barock ( Titecastraat 35 ).

Het nieuwe jaar is aangebroken, en de trouwe lezer zal zonder twijfel een paar veranderingen merken waarin wij volop de organisatoren en de muzikanten uit de undergroundscène willen steunen.
Peek-A-Boo heeft al jaren een kalender waarop je de informatie kan vinden van wie waar speelt, maar in onze nieuwssectie zullen wij ook regelmatig concerten aanstippen die een bezoekje waard zijn.
Het eerste concert dat in onze agenda een kruisje kreeg is het dubbeloptreden van Stin Scatzor en Obszön Geschöpf.
Op onze pagina’s moeten we de loeiharde indusbeats van Stefan Bens en Kris Peeters al lang niet meer voorstellen. Wie ooit het duo op de planken zag, weet dat hij een brok energie in de maag geduwd krijgt die je in België maar weinig tegenkomt.
Iets minder bekend in onze contreien is Obszön Geschöpf die hun zevende album (The Vault of Nightmares) komen voorstellen.
Het indusfeestje gaat door in Brugge in de Barock (Titecastraat 35). En dat op 16 januari 2016.
Of course we expected it , but new names for the upcoming Wave & Gothik Treffen 2016 keep on coming in.
