Willow weet van aanpakken als het om videoclips draait! In het verleden sleepte de band hiervoor al verschillende prijzen in de wacht - o.a. een MIA-award voor beste videoclip - dankzij het slimme gebruik van augmented reality in de videoclip bij de single ‘Sweater’.
Ook het vindingrijke ‘Danger’ is niet onopgemerkt gebleven. De set up? 18 spiegels, 1 GoPro camera en 1 enkele take. Het resultaat? Een tegelijk grappige en ingenieuze videoclip met vreemde dansroutines en slimme reflectietrucs.
GoPro (het bedrijf achter de kleine en uiterst flexible GoPro camera) is dol op de clip en plaatste de video op haar officiële YouTube kanaal dat meer dan 3,3 miljoen volgers telt. Op enkele dagen tijd werd de videoclip bijna 102.000 keer bekeken!
Willow en vaste regisseur Filip Sterckx bewijzen opnieuw een winnend team te zijn.

The young band from Gent will be unfolding their cristalline soundscapes and dreamy, subtle melodies on
Friday, Oct10 at 9pm at Salle Henri Le Boef.
Considered as one of the most refined Belgian bands, admired by international media and adored by a devoted
audience (whose enthusiasm contrasts with the musicians’ quasi-proverbial restraint), Amatorski are currently
working on a new album, from which they’ll premiere some excepts at this concert.
They’ll perform with their new line-up, which includes an additional musician.
Released in 2014, their previous album From Clay To Figures was elected by the media in the northern part of the
country as one of the best Belgian albums of the year.
Amatorski have adapted their emblematic track Come Home for the BBC series The Missing, which used it as its title tune.
The series is currently aired by the RTBF and was/will be shown on TV around the world.

Met ‘To Live Vicariously’, de zesde plaat van Kiss The Anus Of A Black
Cat, zegt Stef Heeren de dronefolk van weleer voorgoed vaarwel. In zijn muziek knetteren voortaan ijle, industriële synths en mechanische drums; alsof The Soft Moon, Virgin Prunes en Throbbing Gristle samen een nummer van Fad Gadget in elkaar knutselen.
'To Live Vicariously' is een driehoeksverhouding tussen post-punk, industrial en darkwave. Het is een album, halfweg tussen hemel en hel, dat begeestert én aanstekelijk is, tegelijk warm én koud klinkt. 'Alle nummers zijn ontstaan in de krochten van mijn geest', lacht Heeren. 'Het resultaat is donker, maar Kwinten (Mordijck, synths) en Koen (Gisen, producer) waakten erover dat de muziek niet té obscuur zou klinken. Het eindresultaat moest toegankelijk blijven voor de luisteraar.’
K.T.A.O.A.B.C is niet langer een soloproject, maar een volwaardige band. 'Ik beslis nog steeds hoe de muziek zal klinken, maar de input en invloeden komen nu ook van de andere bandleden. En met deze sterke muzikanten rond mij, zie ik gewoon dat de band groeit.' Stef Heeren en Kwinten Mordijck tekenden de eerste schetsen van 'To Live Vicariously' uit, Matthias Debusschere (bas, synth) en Jonathan Callens (drums) kleurden de tracks mee in. 'Het is overigens de verdienste van de band dat de nummers hedendaags klinken, en geen slechte kopie van de jaren tachtig zijn', aldus Heeren.
Als Heeren zijn duivels ontbindt, druipt er spontaan angstzweet over je rug. 'To Live Vicariously' verandert elke tien seconden van versnelling, zit vol verraderlijke uitbarstingen, en is met voorsprong de meest punky plaat van K.T.A.O.A.B.C. 'Ik kom uit het punkmilieu. Deze cd voelt als thuiskomen', grijnst de frontman. 'Dat Crass, de legendarische anarchistische punkband, één van mijn grote invloeden is, zegt veel over de inhoud van onze nummers. Toen Koen, onze producer, de titeltrack voor de eerste keer hoorde, riep hij: 'precies een revolutie!' Dat is exact het gevoel dat we bij de luisteraar willen oproepen. 'To Live Vicariously' is een auditieve opstand, maar er schuilt evenveel maatschappijkritiek als hoop achter de muziek.'
Synths zo scherp als een glassnijder, drums die op je hoofd, hart én benen mikken: 'To Live Vicariously' is een plaat die in de kleren blijft hangen; één die úren nazindert. ‘Hoe meer mensen de muziek appreciëren, hoe beter. Maar ik besef dat het nooit mainstream zal worden’, besluit Stef Heeren. En dat hoeft ook niet. Kiss The Anus Of A Black Cat zit nu al tien jaar in de underground, en zit daar nog steeds goed.

In the spring of 2015, upon an invitation by the italian record label Rustblade, THE DEVIL AND THE UNIVERSE participated in a remix project as orchestrated by the legendary Italian composer Claudio Simonetti (of the renowned band Goblin). This project has harvested a longer-term co-operation and so now, The Devil And The Universe is proud to present its latest and third album “BENEDICERE” as released by Rustblade. The ever-evolving and design-oriented (and also Viennese) The Devil And The Universe project has a toolbox filled with musical and imagery equipment as provided by all things occult and religious iconography. These influences are arranged in a modern and original way, the new interpretation a pre-conception-free reflection of musical genres including Ritual Ambient, Synth Pop, New & Minimal Wave. Director and film-score composer John Carpenter (“Halloween”) describes their vivid music: “I really like it. It’s original and evocative.”
The protagonists of The Devil And The Universe, Ashley Dayour, Stefan Elsbacher and David Pfister, call their music “Goat-Wave”. Reminiscent of the pagan icon, the goat-headed Baphomet, the medieval and mystical figure has served as the band’s avatar since the release of its first album. The goat-head is also occasionally worn by members of the band during live performances so as to break free of clichés and appear gender-neutral.
In the court of content, christian mysticism (especially the mysteries surrounding the Virgin Mary) plays a decisive role on this, the third long-play offering of The Devil And The Universe. To capture the essence of the musical content, the band travelled to the most visited pilgrimage site in the world- Lourdes, France, as well as to the Spanish Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey and the Vatican in Rome. With their previous Albums :IMPRINT DAATH: (2013), HAUNTED SUMMER (2014), the focus was psychedelic music steeped in a magical and spiritual aesthetic… now The Devil And The Universe are passionately immersed with a sincere affinity in the world of Catholic-Christian thought.
