Paradiso Filmed Entertainment is proud to announce that Mr. Holmes will have its world premiere at the 65th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival , which takes place from 5 to February 15, 2015.
The story is actually set in 1947, following a long-retired Holmes living in a Sussex village with his housekeeper and rising detective son. But then he finds himself haunted by an unsolved 50-year old case. Holmes memory isn't what it used to be, so he only remembers fragments of the case: a confrontation with an angry husband, a secret bond with his beautiful but unstable wife.
One of the biggest surprises of this year’s Oscar nominations is Marion Cotillard for Best Actress in Two Days, One Night. Her last nomination was in 2007, when she won one for her portrayal of Édith Piaf in La Vie en Rose.
Her contenders are Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, Felicity Jones, Rosamund Pike and Reese Witherspoon.
In Los Angeles the nominations for the prestigious Academy Awards are just announced, and Paradiso is very proud to announce that THE IMITATION GAME received eight nominations. This gives the film, along with Birdman, second largest number of nominations.
The Imitation Game is a powerful drama about the life and work of Alan Turing ( Benedict Cumberbatch ), the brilliant but emotionally complicated British scientist whose work helped to shorten the Second World War and thus saved the lives of tens of thousands of people.

Zojuist zijn in Los Angeles de nominaties bekend gemaakt voor de prestigieuze Academy Awards, en Paradiso Filmed Entertainment is bijzonder trots te melden dat THE IMITATION GAME maar liefst acht nominaties heeft gekregen. Hiermee heeft de film, samen met Birdman, het op één na grootste aantal nominaties gekregen.
The Imitation Game is een indrukwekkend drama over het leven en werk van Alan Turing (Benedict Cumberbatch), de briljante maar emotioneel gecompliceerde Britse wetenschapper die met zijn werk de Tweede Wereldoorlog hielp te verkorten en daarmee de levens van tienduizenden mensen heeft gered.

Blancmange have signed with Cherry Red Records to release their new album, "Semi Detached". The new Blancmange album will be available on 4 formats: CD, Ltd Edition Deluxe Double CD, Vinyl LP and digital download and is due out on 23 March 2015. Y
Included in the album is also a cover of Can's "I Want More" from their 1976 album "Flow Motion". The album track "Paddington" will be the first single off the album and released on 9 March 2015. The album was mixed by Adam Fuest and features atmospheric guitars by David Rhodes (Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel).
"Semi Detached" is Blancmange’s 5th album to date, and the first without the involvement of Stephen Luscombe, Neils long term collaborator.
