The German band Dusk to Dawn compiled a special kind of “best of” from the 90’s: Only available on vinyl, 10 dark wave / electronic rock / synth pop songs from that area were re-mastered this summer for the LP “Remains”.
Special limited edition vinyl version. Four years after the release of their last full length album "Raspail", and following their "Emerald" EP released earlier this year, ARCANA now offers us brand new material on their 7th full lenght album. As accustomed from this legendary act we are graced with Peter Bjärgö’s solemn voice echoing through the blend of strings, guitars, piano and a variety of percussion instruments.
Ann-Mari Thim’s beautiful, picturesque soprano floats through the air together with Núria Luis’ emotional violin and Cecilia Bjärgö’s soft, mellow alto blends in with Mattias Borgh’s and Sergio Gamez Martinez’ percussive rhythms. As Bright as a Thousand Suns is a sincere and sapience filled opus from a mature collective, ten diverse songs of thoughts and emotions on one album of pure splendour.
Edition of 250 copies in Gatefold Sleeve with a 18" x 24" poster and Free Digital Download Card.

In our series of undiscovered pearls we like to introduce you to the British gothrockband Lilygun.
They'll soon have an album out, but as a teaser Peek-A-Boo proudly presents their Moonlight-single.
Yes there's talent in Belgium (of course there is!). What about these two?
Maya's Moving Castlecis the creation of a girl who grew up on a small farm, digging up insects and collecting butterflies. She started out playing an old cello at home. When she moved to the city, she became a multi-instrumentalist and started writing songs in an attic. Driven by her imagination and experimentation, she created her own fantasy world. Meanwhile, the attic became a studio, and solo turned into a full-blown band. Produced by Stefan Bracke (Raveyards, ex-The Subs) and François De Meyer (Raveyards, Villa) and accompanied by musicians Nele De Gussem (vocals, guitar), Ben Brunin (bass, synth) and Simon Segers (drums). Maya’s Moving Castle’s first single “Next Life” will be released in September!
Blackie and The Ohoos is the band around Loesje and Martha Maieu, two sisters with a knack for twisted and perplexing tunes.
They have just finished recording “Song for Two Sisters”, their second album, which is suffused with a tense and dark, otherworldly atmosphere. The psychedelic dream pop and spooky folk is reminiscent of their debut album, but the songs and lyrics have a more mature, eccentric and distilled quality… It’s going to be an amazing album and we can’t wait to let you hear it. Hang in there, it’s dropping this fall.
Peek-A-Boo likes to give new talent a shout and Italian band Chemical Waves are a good example of this.
CHEMICAL WAVES is a project of Marco Cattani, a former member of the electronic band "Halo effect" (www.facebook.com/haloeffectband). This side project was born from desire to develop a different sound, the desire to experiment and exploring a new musical form, a deep and intense sound running
throught dark atmospheres and obsessive rhythms.
All songs use some samples that replace the vocals line.
All the tracks written and arranged by Marco Cattani. Mixing by Nicola Di Già. Guitar recorded by Nicola Di Già.
Chemical Waves has already put out four singles (The Origin, Murders TV, Sweet candy bullets and The great dictator) that anticipate the first full album scheduled for September....more info coming soon....
