The German electronic act Junksista has joined up with the upcoming director Fabio Soares for their newest video which is available now on YouTube. The "Life Is Unfair (And Love Is A Bitch)" video offers a modern take on various Brothers Grimm fairytales with the catchy electro dance track as red line. Shot in a forest near Ulm (Germany) the video acts also as a teaser for Junksista's new album "Bad case of fabulous" which will hit the streets on November 8th via the Alfa Matrix label.
Says Diana: "With the video we tried to show that love can be consumed like candy - it's a quick pleasure for some. When it's 'done' they simply move on to the next sweet thing. Others lose their heart over it."
Hailing from Southern Germany, Junkista consists of the producers duo Boog & Diana. The duo offers a fresh and electric mix of catchy electro tunes, sexually explicit lyrics, sensual half-sung half-spoken female vocals, funky guitar riffs and tons of bass and synthesizer filled grooves.
French director Fabio Soares rose to fame recently with the "Woman With No Name" short film featuring Laura Satana, Arben Bajrakataraj ("Harry Potter") and french cult actor / singer Bernie Bonvoisin. Since Junksista did the soundtrack for that short film, Soares was no stranger to the band's sound.
The second EP off the successful album ‘Automation Baby’ aims straight at dance-floors, radios and playlists around the globe. Typical Mesh hooks, beats and melancholic moods, just a bit more catchy and enjoyable. Mesh’s world-class Electro-Pop with a dancefloor twist, and melodies that go right into your ears – and happen to stay there for a long time.
The Radio edit was produced by Nico “MABOOSE” Wieditz (And One), who also completely deconstructed the original for a more danceable club version. The result is sure to fill electronic dancefloors in no time.
Also Rob Dusts gritty and beat-ridden remix of Adjust Your Set will appeal to the uncompromising Electro-DJ. The package is topped off by the exclusive B-Side “Walk of Shame”, what makes this EP a sure collector’s item for fans, as Mesh have done it again: The B-Side defies its name in terms of quality. A strong second single!
