Ahead of their upcoming North American tour, Lust For Youth shares the brand new video for "Illume" with us today. Though it is not the same "Illume" we know from the International LP. Sand Circles re-worked this track for the Remixes cassette that came along with the limited edition version of the International LP. Sand Circles took a very minimal approach to the remix, almost turning what some would call a "dance floor" track into a very ambient and emotional piece.
Director Frederik Valentin's video work sits very nicely alongside the track: slowed down, shadowy figures performing while flashes of neon lights appear. Take a look at the video along with the upcoming tour dates below, which includes their first ever SXSW appearance. Don't miss Lust For Youth when they hit your city.

ATROCITY has just returned from their shows in Spain! Supporting their latest album "Okkult" the band toured through Europe, North America, the Caribbean and Asia. Pretty much anywhere you can think of, ATROCITY played there!
As a big surprise and first metal band ever on both shows, ATROCITY & Liv Kristine performed at the two big German prime time TV shows ARD - „Das große Fest der Besten“ (Annual Schlager Music award TV show) and RTL „Die 2 - Gottschalk & Jauch gegen alle“ together with Germany’s biggest "Schlager music" star Heino, who released a Metal and Rock Remix album recently. More than twelve million viewers watched the two TV shows. Some „Schlager music“ artists called a boycott against the „metal“ performance from the beginning; however, the producers of „Das große Fest der Besten“ decided to invite Heino and the metal musicians despite the protest.
ATROCITY singer Alex Krull states:
„We had a lot of fun at both of the TV shows. At least every one we met from the world of „Schlager music“ was really nice and very respectful to us. No doubt, it’s certainly a complete different (musical) world. Some people were quite shocked that something like this „could happen“ at such a big TV event and that we were even doing this. But a boycott, really? Come on, people shouldn’t take everything too seriously. Besides all that, the massive stage set with tons of pyro effects rocked and we enjoyed performing with Heino, who is over 50 years in business! Even if you don’t like the music and some people might think Heino is a controversial artist, show me one established 76-year-old mainstream music star who decides and dares to turn his own hits into rock and metal songs and performing them on stage, too. Heino and his team are very nice people and they work highly professional.“
ATROCITY will continue the „OKKULT“ World Tour, delivering brutal sets nightly on stage! Soon there will be a new video clip for the song „Death by Metal“ released! Until then, enjoy the video for „Pandæmonium“ here!

Now in the theatres : LOIN DES HOMMES
Director: David Oelhoffen
Stars: Viggo Mortensen, Reda Kateb, Djemel Barek
A French teacher in a small Algerian village during the Algerian War forms an unexpected bond with a dissident, and is then ordered to turn him in to the authorities.
COBRA.BE ★★★★
Norwegian electronic-rock act Apoptygma Berzerk will release their latest live album, Imagine There's No Lennon, as a deluxe 2LP vinyl set via Toronto's Artoffact Records in March. Originally released as a CD+DVD European-only issue in 2010, "Lennon" is Apoptygma Berzerk's third live album and will be the band's first on vinyl.
The deluxe set includes a vinyl-sized booklet, complete with band and live photos from 2009's Rocket Science Tour. The vinyl will also be made available on two special colour versions.
Along with the "Lennon" 2LP, Artoffact Records will simultaneously release a 2LP vinyl version of the band's wildly popular Unicorn EP. Originally released on Harmonizer in 2002 as a duet with Propaganda's Claudia Brucken, Unicorn is one of Apoptygma Berzerk's standout songs, still ubiquitous in clubs, and a fan favourite at Apop shows. The collection contains eight remixes of Unicorn, including those by luminaries Hocico, T.O.Y., Freezepop, and No Comment, as well as a sublime 808 version by Stephen Groth's own Fairlight Children project. Several of Apop's best known hits will appear on the vinyl as bonus tracks in remixed or live form, including Non Stop Violence recorded in Tel Aviv, and remixes of Suffer in Silence, Until the end of the World, Kathy's Song and more.
Apoptygma Berzerk continues to be one of Norway's most popular electronic bands, with over 100,000 Facebook fans. Last year saw the band celebrate its 25th anniversary. The band was founded by Stephen Groth in 1989.
