On 29th August Dutch Film Works will release The Borgias 3 on DVD and Blu-ray.

Pope Alexander survives an assassination attempt and comes back stronger than ever, reaching the pinnacle of power, influence and wealth; Cesare marries a French noblewoman, defends Rome and his family against the very determined Caterina Sforza and fights to prove himself to his father; Lucrezia's marriage to Alfonzo falters as she and Cesare draw closer than ever, and she successfully dabbles in the black arts; Micheletto finds love and faces the ultimate betrayal.

In het derde en laatste seizoen van de veelbesproken drama/ misdaadserie worden de spanningen binnen het Vaticaan tot een hoogtepunt opgevoerd. Rodrigo, alias Paus Alexander VI keert terug en heeft geen tijd te verliezen. Hij is doodziek en vreest dat zijn dood nadert. Rodrigo smeedt plannen om zich met één vernietigende klap van al zijn vijanden te ontdoen. Maar de bloederige eindstrijd kan ook het einde betekenen van de kerk en van de Borgia’s… Met o.a. John Doman, Mark Ryder, Isolda Dychauk en Marta Gastini.

Although children aren't entomologists, when they take a trip to the country and start roaming through fields and meadows, they do spend an incredible amount of time observing insects. Unlike grownup specialists, our knee-high observers with scabby knees have a peculiar perception of these tiny creatures, readily imagining them in utterly weird, surrealistic situations. Such an offbeat, and often comic vision provides the basis for how MINUSCULE will be showing insects in their day-to-day existence, "at grassroots level," as if we were right there with them. So forget everything you've ever learned about segmented, winged or wingless little creatures, because you're about to discover bug reality. MINUSCULE revolves around the day-to-day existence of insects. Although the series calls to mind a wildlife documentary, it's a documentary in which the insects are presented in burlesque situations, with a fair amount of philosophical contemplation thrown in. You might call it a cross...

Rithy Panh uses clay figures, archival footage, and his narration to recreate the atrocities Cambodia's Khmer Rouge committed between 1975 and 1979.

The Missing Picture verschijnt in augustus 2014 op dvd op Contact Film.

Zelfgemaakte klei-figuurtjes van beeldhouwer Sarith Mang, diorama's en found footage- archiefbeelden zijn de 'missing pictures' waarmee Panh verslag doet van zijn jeugd en de ervaringen van zijn familie die werd omgebracht. Hij moet de beelden wel zelf creëren, want behalve de propaganda van de Khmer, zoals georkestreerde documentaires en slecht geacteerde actiescènes die ze gebruikten om hun overwinningen aan het volk te laten zien, is er geen gefilmd materiaal uit die tijd. De Franse voice-over is gebaseerd op teksten uit Panhs boek The Elimination.

Een enkele foto-uitsnede van broers en zussen komt langs, uit een vrolijke tijd voor Pol Pots troepen de hoofdstad binnenvielen met hun pure revolutie. Het begint met puurheid en het eindigt met haat, zegt de stem. Honderden kleifiguurtjes staan bevroren in landschappen waar de camera overheen dwaalt, stille getuigen bij gebrek aan sprekende.

It is not every day that Xenomorph Productions' studio owner and engineer signs an album to his own name! Over the 2 last decades, Sebastian R. Komor has been writing music in genres ranging from EDM/Industrial/Metal to Synth Pop/Trip-Hop and Orchestral gaining recognition on the electronic scene through various projects like ZOMBIE GIRL, ICON OF COIL, BRUDERSCHAFT, KOMOR KOMMANDO, MELT and many more. 

Today with his new album, SEBASTIAN KOMOR plunges us into the midst of the Game Of Thrones battlefields and The Hobbit peaks for a fascinating sound adventure. With an album so evokingly and aptly titled as "Vikings, Thrones & Dragonbones", the Norwegian artist decided to awake his deep and profound roots, his "Viking side"... 

Having always had a true fascination of the huge, epic and demanding impact orchestral music can have, SEBASTIAN KOMOR turned the synths off and composed music. Strings, violas, cellos, timpani, working with and exploring some and all of the elements in an orchestra. Building tension and creating emotions, a musical landscape in all its grandeur. He then turned the synths and machines back on, adding the punch, the beats and the basslines Komor is so much renowned for. 

Most of the songs featured on this album are based around a specific situation or scenario (think "Dragon's Lair", "Vikings On Parade", "Fallen Warrior"...), offering to you a unique way to experience this soundtrack music, letting the music guide you into the most extravagant parts of your imagination. You'll be able to imagine yourself walking into a cave up in the mountains suddenly staring straight into the eye of a Dragon, or preparing for battle, gathering the men, sharpening the weapons, marching through the landscape.
