The Juggernauts, a brand new Belgian EBM formation led by Borg (also in Klinik and boss of Bodybeats) and Glenn (from Radical G), were giving their first gig ever at the REWIND FEST in Ghent last Saturday. During an interview with Peek-a-boo, Borg announced that the first album of the band will be called "The Juggernauts... Are Coming" and will be released by the end of the year.
The band will also be playing the "Industrial Boom Festival" in Budapest, Hungary at the end of the month, together with Front242, Neon Judgement, Absolute Body Control and 32Crash - a Belgian invasion of Hungary...

This Easter was a very special one with a great Rewindfestival which makes us ache for more!
Soon you'll find a full review and in the meantime you can go to our photosection to see the excellent photos from Xavier Marquis.
Ronny Moorings, founder of Clan Of Xymox, has a 'secret project'! At the REWIND festival in Ghent, he told Peek-a-boo that the band is "working on a new album, which will not be a typical album. It's a surprise so I don't want to say anything more. It will be something that I or Clan Of Xymox have never done before..." We suspect that this strange release will take place on Ronny Moorings's Birthday, 20th of May 2012... Stay tuned!
In the short interview, Ronny also explained that he first decided to cover "Heroes" from David Bowie when he participated to the anniversary show at WGT in Leipzig. He recorded the song to have a backing track for the performance and the result was so good that he decided to release the song and to include it in concert setlists.

Cassandra Complex to release a new album, 'The Constructivist's Nightmare' (exclusive)
At the REWIND festival in Ghent, Rodney Orpheus, founder of Cassandra Complex, told Peek-a-boo that the band is currently recording a new album, which should be released by the end of the year. The working title is "The Constructivist's Nightmare" and it sounds "really great so far".
For the 25th anniversary of the band, Cassandra Complex will also release remastered versions of "Grenade" and "Theomania", two major early albums. According to Orpheus, "the remasters sound incredible, much more powerful". By the way, "Theomania" was recorded in Belgium...

Chameleons Vox: Exclusive greetings from Mark Burgess, live video and new material !
Chameleons Vox were one of the headliners of the first day of the REWIND Festival in Ghent on 6th April. Mark Burgess, founder of the Chameleons, gave a short interview to Peek-a-boo backstage after the show, in which he gives his Easter greetings to the readers of Peek-a-boo in a very funny way and comments his live performance (see video below).
Note that Chameleons Vox will be releasing a remastered double vinyl edition of their legendary LP "Script Of The Bridge" in the course of April. This edition has been remastered by Guy Massey, who was in charge of the remastered editions of The Beatles Discography. The sound recording of the original pressing had to be compressed due to the running time (almost an hour) but this new edition will not have such limitation as it will be released as a double vinyl, with 3 songs per side.
The band has also been in the studio recording new material. Yes, we are going to get new album with the current lineup (Mark Burgess, John Lever, Chris Oliver, Ray Bowles, and Neil Dwerryhouse).
