The video has been captured into an abandoned village in southern France, where reportedly, lost souls hide themselves from the inclemecy of life!
It’s been 3 years now sInce Simi-Nah released their concept album “Be My Guest” while in 2015 “Bootleg” saw the light, containing unreleased versions from the their first album “CherChez la Femme”. Meanwhile some of their tracks were featured on several international compilation albums and they did remIxes for other artists. One of their tracks was even featured on the Belgian TV series Chaussée d’amour soundtrack.
Simi-Nah announced this single as the prelude to her very last French Dark Wave album whIch wIll be released towards the end of 2017.
Enkele weken geleden mochten wij u al de release van de nieuwste Simi Nah single 'Chacun Pour Soi' en nu is ook de bijhorende video te bewonderen en te beluisteren op Youtube! De video is gedraaid in en verlaten dorpje in het zuiden van Frankrijk, waar naar verluid, verloren zielen zich verschuilen voor de hardheid en verzuring van het leven!
Het is ondertussen al 3 jaar geleden dat Simi-Nah hun conceptalbum "Be my Guest" heeft uitgebracht, terwijl in 2015 "Bootleg" het licht zag, met daarop onuitgegeven versies van hun eerste album "CherChez la Femme". Ondertussen werden enkele van hun nummers ook opgenomen op verschillende internationale compilatie-albums en maakten ze enkele remixen voor andere artiesten. Een van hun tracks werd zelfs opgenomen in de soundtrack van Belgische tv-serie Chaussée d'amour.
Simi-Nah kondigde ook aan dat deze single de voorbode is voor haar laatste donkere Franstalige Dark Wave album, dat eind 2017 gereleased wordt.
New Wave cult & club classic band Crash Course In Science is back with a new (bomb) album!
Today we received the great news that the men and woman of the 80s Electro - Industrial Music and Art Formation Crash Course In Science have their new album ready for release. This Philadelphia / New York based pioneer band is responsible for the cult classic and 12 " Signals From Pier Thirteen" which was released 1981, and includes dance floor fillers Cardboard Lamp and Flying Turns.
So today, they announced the release of their second studio album Situational Awareness by the Dutch label Clone records. The album is available on vinyl as well as digital and contains 10 brand new songs composed in the real Crash Course In Science tradition!
Of course you do not have to believe blindly, so go listen to some samples on this link!

Inderdaad, vandaag bereikte ons het heugelijke nieuws dat de heren en dame van de 80’s Electro - Industriële muziek en kunst formatie Crash Course In Science hun nieuwe album af hebben. Deze in Philadelphia / New York gebaseerde pioniers band is verantwoordelijk voor de reeds in 1981 verschenen cult klassieker en 12” Signals From Pier Thirteen met daarop o.a. de dansvloer vullers Cardboard Lamp en Flying Turns.

Four years after “The Productive Citizen”, IMPLANT is soon to be back with their new full length release “Oxynoxe-X”. Meanwhile here comes a first sonic glimpse on the new album with this EP single “The Phone Call”, a medium tempo dance track we can describe as a mix of classic EBM with fresh electro à la Dewaele Bros. A track integrally composed on a Doepfer A100 modular synthesizer to which frontman Len Lemeire gives body through some easy vocal hooks stigmatising the struggle and downside of our social-media-dominated hi-tech society.
“The Phone Call” EP features some 6 additional remixes by Radical G, Noseda, True Zebra, Llumen, Jean-Luc Lederman and Implant themselves. True music quiz lovers will rapidly notice that all these remixes share that special “made in Belgium” common point, letting this release bring its own contribution to the already rich “Sound of Belgium” history…
As a bonus-track, the EP also features the exclusive cut “El Pastor”, the opening live track of Implant’s recent live shows which appears here for the first time in studio version...

Een song die integraal gecomponeerd werd op een Doepfer A100 modulaire analogue synthesizer wat frontman Len Lemeire verder aanvult door middel van enkele een sloganeske zanglijnen over de strijd met en het verval die onze door social media-gedomineerde hi-tech samenleving stigmatiseren.

First two names for the International EBM Day (De Casino, St-Niklaas, B) announced!
Last weekend, BodyBeats Productions released the first two names of their International EBM Day event that will take place for the first time in Belgium on Saturday 24.2.2018 at the splendid venue De Casino (St.Niklaas, B).
As the name and non-coincidentally chosen date (24.2) already suggest, it is the intention to celebrate and honour the electronic music genre Electronic Body Music. "Do not expect headliners like Front 242, DAF or Nitzer Ebb, but rather a fine selection of the legacy in today's EBM scene, of these bands aforementioned" said BodyBeats.
This weekend, they have put their cash on the nail and announce the first two artists!
PLASTIC NOISE EXPERIENCE (D) & PANKOW (IT)!
The German combo PLASTIC NOISE EXPERIENCE, or for short PNE, should be no strangers to our loyal Peek-a-Boo reader as this band is of the second EBM generation and was founded already in 1989. Since then, PNE has established themselves in the underground Electro / EBM scene, their releases and concerts guarantee quality and ambience.
The Italian PANKOW, founded in 1979, and thus of the first EBM generation, is considered one of the pioneers of the Italian EBM / Industrial movement. Over the years, the went through a lot of line-up changes and for several years now, Pankow chief Maurizio Fasolo has incorporated the Belgian Bram Declercq (Ex-NTRSN) as singer and stage animal.
According to BodyBeats, three more names will be added to the bill soon, so if you ask us it can only get better as we are already more than satisfied with these first two names but, of course, we are looking forward to their next announcement!

Vorig weekend heeft BodyBeats Productions de eerste twee namen vrijgegeven voor het International EBM Day event dat dit jaar voor het eerst in België, en meteen in de prachtzaal De Casino (St.Niklaas) wordt georganiseerd.
Zoals de naam en de niet toevallig gekozen datum (24.2) al duidelijk maken is het volgens de organisatie de bedoeling om het elektronische muziekgenre Electronic Body Music eens in de verft te zetten. ‘Verwacht niet meteen kleppers als Front 242, DAF of Nitzer Ebb maar eerder een fijne selectie van deze voorgenoemden hun nalatenschap in de hedendaagse EBM scene’, aldus BodyBeats.
Deze week voegen zij dan ook al meteen boter bij de vis en kondigen ze hun eerste twee gestrikte artiesten aan!

Volgens BodyBeats worden er binnenkort nog een drietal namen aan de affiche toegevoegd dus het kan alleen maar beter worden … Wij zijn alvast meer dan tevreden deze eerste twee namen maar kijken natuurlijk net als jullie, halsrijkend uit naar de volgde aankondiging!

Armed with an immense repertoire of irresistible blockbuster tunes you can always rely on VNV, as the entire audience, from the front row to the very back of the field, follows them on their gripping journey.
Whenever PROJECT PITCHFORK get to play at Turbinenhalle, E-tropolis reaches its prime moments. For sure, a circle-pit in the hall or, more commonly spoken, a full grown stampede, would be an extra incentive to join but one rule never fails: wherever the Hamburg-based scene-pioneers around Peter Spilles hit the floor, they kick hard with a heart! 27 years in service and the best is yet to come! We are looking forward to it!
ROTERSAND - a lighthouse surrounded by waves of dancing bodies...! For 15 years now the ingenious team of front man Rasc and producer Krischan Wesenberg defies the surges of the raging black sea around them, continuously setting their very own unique musical accents. Intriguingly catchy at times, rough and edgy at others, their most recent work 'Capitalism TM' again provides the perfect fuel for steaming dancefloors. Basically at E-tropolis Festival we follow the rule of accepting no imitations.
For FORCED TO MODE however, it was only a question of time until we simply had to hit the override button. Master and servant are equally excited as soon as the guys step into the ring with their ultra-cool Depeche Mode tribute-set. Big hits in an excellent live-outfit - come forth to enjoy the silence!
