Outraged by the slow death of Soho and the live venue crackdown in London, LegPuppy frontman Darren Laurence committed himself to a 5 day one-man silent disco protest.
The outcome? The powerful mini documentary She’s Lost Her Soul.
The video, filmed by John Clay (aka Clark Kent’s Rock and Roll Revue) is making its debut on April 19th at The Windmill Brixton and carries the message that big corporations are killing London’s creative community and it’s vitally important that we keep the music culture alive.
London has already lost the likes of Astoria, The Intrepid Fox, The Marquee, The Mean Fiddler and The 12 Bar Club. With campaigns to save the likes of Tin Pan Alley (Denmark Street) this is a crucial time not only for the culture of the London music scene but for the country’s also.
The backing track She's Lost Her Soul is performed by the electronic outfit and is part of their five track Black Soul EP set to be released on May 5th, including remixes by the brilliant Gnoomes. You can listen to She’s Lost Her Soul here!

Record Store Day at Wool-E Shop with exclusive tape and live gigs by The Arch & TBOL
For Record Store Day on 22 April Wool-E tapes will release the 4th installment of the exclusive Music For Muted TV series curated by Daniel B. knobtwister, musicman and all-round brain of Front 242.4 years after part one, the 10" vinyl MFMTV1, part four will once again be a Record Store Day release, partly exclusively available at Wool-E Shop.For this special release Daniel B. reworked 4 songs from the new upcoming Nothing But Noise cd (20 May, Wool-E Discs) under his pseudonym Prothese.
160 pcs were made of this tape, 60 are already sold through the mailinglist of Nothing But Noise, the other 100 will be set for sale to the public (50 online, 50 exclusively at Wool-E Shop) in four different colours on 22 April.
The 50 online tapes are clear prison tapes with yellow hubs, the 50 Wool-E Shop tapes are green, red and orange and will be distributed at random to the customers. There's only one catch: both online and in the shop only one tape per customer and no putting on the side.
The sales of both online and shop stock starts at noon when the shop doors open.
The shop will be open from 12:00 till 19:00 with the following activities taking place for this occasion:
14:00 Onsturicheit (one man psychedelic band, releasegig of the second Wool-E tape)
15:30 The Arch (legendary postpunk/EBM/goth band from Breendonk, putting the spotlight on their latest cd "Fates" released last year)
17:00 The Breath Of Life (even more legendary Walloon goth band with a heavenly voiced singer, who will present their new upcoming cd "Under The Falling Stars", a coproduction with Wool-E Discs.
Voor Record Store Day op 22 April brengt Wool-E Tapes het 4e deel uit van de exclusieve Music For Muted TV reeks gecureerd door Daniel B. knopjesman, muziekman en allround brein van Front 242. 4 jaar na het eerste deel, de vinyl 10" MFMTV1, wordt deel 4 wederom een Record Store Day release, zij het dat deze deels exclusief in Wool-E Shop zal te verkrijgen zijn. Voor deze speciale release herwerkte Daniel B. onder zijn pseudoniem Prothese 4 nummers van de op 20 Mei bij Wool-E Discs te verschijnen nieuwe Nothing But Noise cd.
Van deze tape werden 160 stuks gemaakt, 60 stuks werden reeds verkocht via de mailinglist van Nothing But Noise, de overige 100 stuks worden te koop aangeboden op 22 April (50 online en 50 exclusief in Wool-E Shop) in 4 verschillende kleuren.
De 50 online exemplaren zijn allemaal doorzichtig met gele wieltjes, de 50 Wool-E Shop exemplaren zijn groen, rood en oranje en worden willekeurig verdeeld onder de klanten. Zowel online als in de winkel geldt: 1 per persoon. Er kunnen geen tapes gereserveerd worden.
De verkoop van zowel de online exemplaren als de winkel exemplaren start om 12h 's middags bij het openen van de winkel.

On 22rd & 23th July 2017 more than 12,000 members of the goth-scene from all over the world will flock again to Tanzbrunnen Cologne as Amphi Festival opens its portals for the thirteenth time. Following the success of last Summer´s highly acclaimed return to its long-term venue and being awarded a silver star for its first decade of collaboration with the Tanzbrunnen, Amphi Festival 2017, content-wise, spans a divide between tradition and modern zeitgeist.
Taken as a whole, a wealth of 42 bands wait to please the crowd with magnificent shows, including the two thrilling headliners VNV NATION and EISBRECHER, both behemoths of live-entertainment and yet so different. Electronic enthusiasts will equally be served as the fans of chunky riffs! The same goes for the rest of the programme, which, amongst many more, hauls the deeply rooted British goth-rock legends FIELDS OF THE NEPHILIM to Cologne. Leading acts like APOPTYGMA BERZERK, COMBICHRIST, HOCICO, DIARY OF DREAMS, LORD OF THE LOST and EBM- / industrial rock pioneers DIE KRUPPS herald of what might be regarded as the strongest Amphi line-up yet.
Concurrently, the promoters focus on expanding the festival's future legacy. More than one third of the programme consists of bands and projects making their first Amphi appearance in 2017. Amongst them, Swedish synthpop shooting stars KITE, epic-electronic rockers LEGEND from Iceland, British postrockers ESBEN & THE WITCH and dreampop formation BOX & THE TWINS from Cologne, who take the honour of opening the stage at MS RheinEnergie on Saturday afternoon. Only introduced last year, the KD fleet's flagship becomes Amphi Festival's floating venue again, joining the phalanx of Tanzbrunnen's open-air stage and the Theater am Tanzbrunnen, ready to provide various concerts (indoor), well-praised gastronomic fare and the enjoyable lavish sun deck as the picturesque chill-out area in front of the historic city panorama.
Of course a successful Amphi Festival won't miss out on the fabulous beach club "km 689", nor the mead lounge, located at the center fountain construction. Festival guests may also look foward to a wealth of assorted merchants, autograph sessions with the stars and after-show parties.
Enthusiasts might even want to join the beautifully textured dark extravaganza on Friday 21st July, as this preceeding day holds a couple of interesting pre-festival activities worth attending. For example, premium ticket holders embark on the next edition of the opening event "Call The Ship To Port" at MS RheinEnergie. Starting at 8:00 pm, the atmospheric trip cruises along the Rhine, exclusively featuring Belgian EBM groundbreakers FRONT 242, NEUROTICFISH and SCHEUBER, arriving back at approximately 00:30 am. Pre-sale for this special event is already well advanced so interested parties should be aware of only 100 tickets left available! Op 22 en 23 juli 2017 zullen meer dan 12.000 leden van de goth scene van over de hele wereld samenkomen in Tanzbrunnen Keulen wanneer het Amphi Festival voor de dertiende keer haar poorten opent. Na het succes van de, zeer gewaardeerde terugkeer naar de oude locatie van afgelopen zomer en het behalen van een zilveren ster voor het eerste decennium van samenwerking met Tanzbrunnen, overbrugt Amphi Festival 2017, qua inhoud, de kloof tussen traditie en moderne Zeitgeist.
Een weelde van 42 bands wacht om het publiek te vermaken met geweldige shows, inclusief de twee opwindende headliners VNV NATION en EISBRECHER, beiden grootmachten in live entertainment en toch zo verschillend. Electronica fans worden evenzo op hun wenken bediend als de fans van stevige riffs! Hetzelfde geldt voor de rest van het programma waarin onder anderen de diepgewortelde Britse goth-rock legende FIELDS OF THE NEPHILIM naar Keulen wordt gehaald.
