John Murphy passed away on October 11. He is best known as the percussionist of Neofolk cult icon Death in June, and as a collaborator of Current 93, NON, :Of The Wand and the Moon:, Blood Axis, Whitehouse and Ex-The Velvet Underground singer Nico, and founding member of Last Dominion Lost, Knifeladder and Shining Vril.
Being a very prolific protagonist of the UK Post Industrial scene, his instrumental contributions are audible on amazing records like Whitehouse’s Psychopathia Sexualis, Current 93’s Dog’s Blood Order, Death in June’s and Boyd Rice’s collaboration album Alarm Agents – among many others. The Melbourne-born drummer, percussionist and multi-instrumentalist co-founded the punk band News before wandering off to the UK, eventually joining The Associates and Gene Loves Jezebel as a session member, and getting more and more involved with the blooming and fruitful scene that formed around the remains of Throbbing Gristle.
John Murphy never stopped working on music before his death. Our thoughts are with him and his relatives.

With rave reviews greeting their recent album “Depression Cherry”, along with a Top 20 chart entry, BEACH HOUSE have this weekend surprised their fans with the announcement of a brand new studio album entitled Thank Your Lucky Stars which will be released this Friday, 16th October, on Bella Union.
Of the record Beach House say:
“Thank Your Lucky Stars is our 6th full length record. It was written after Depression Cherry from July 2014 - November 2014 and recorded during the same sessions as Depression Cherry. The songs came together very quickly and were driven by the lyrics and the narrative. In this way, the record feels very new for us, and a great departure from our last few records. Thematically, this record often feels political. It's hard to put it into words, but something about the record made us want to release it without the normal "campaign." We wanted it to simply enter the world and exist.”
Beach House make their Belgium live return 3rd November in Brussels with a sold-out show at AB.
Described by the band as : Flooding the dark side of pop with sonic colors, "Skills" fluorescent electro wave brings spinning kaleidoscopic vibration to the eardrums of the listeners.
And we guess they're right, click and enjoy!

'Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension' coming to haunt your soul this October!
Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension is an upcoming American 3D found footage supernatural horror film directed by Gregory Plotkin in his directorial debut and written by Jason Pagan and Andrew Stark. Plotkin served as the editor for the past four Paranormal Activity films.
It is the fifth sequel/sixth and final installment in the Paranormal Activity series. The film is scheduled to be released on October 23, 2015, EW has confirmed. According to producer Jason Blum, it will answer all of the questions that the series' mythology has posed up to this point.PlotThe film will follow supernatural occurrences that take place in a newly moved family's home in Palo Alto, California. The family consists of four members including Ryan, a game developer, Ryan's wife Emily, a stay-at-home mom described as 'more serious than her young husband—she's constantly on the go, does yoga, and though loving, has an air of maturity about her', their 6-year old daughter Leila, described as 'a fearless, opinionated tomboy', and Ryan's younger brother described as a 'less fit, less funky version of his brother'.
The brothers find tapes of young Katie and Kristi being taught supernatural abilities by their grandmother. Despite the video being filmed 20 years ago, Katie breaks the fourth wall by noticing the brothers' presence. They also find a camera which can see paranormal phenomena that the human eye can't see. With Leila being targeted by supernatural forces, Ryan must find a way to protect his daughter before it is too late.
Resulting from the many and various explorations and experiences of these members, Breaking Fuel has been painting itself as a definite Rock-o-colored item. The band has taken shape around the musical humanity of its 5 members recorded a first EP which has been handed out personnally by the band, back in 2012.
Enthused by the warm welcome the EP met for its debut release, a long and successful series of concerts would soon follow (2012-2013). This evolution led the later addition of a sound engineer to the crew. From cosier and more intimate Appartment Sessions to larger venues (Rock School Barbey Theater), and not omitting the literally more "underground" local scene, as well as playing for the opening of World Surf Contest, or at Barcelona’s RazzMattaz, the band, mirroring their refreshing music has been rocking venues in an unexpected fashion. his results in the recording of a 1st full-length album, displaying an amazing number of collaborations on their tracks including Adrian Terrazas Gonzales on saxophone (The Mars Volta, T.R.A.M.) or Matthieu Lesenechal (Big Sir).
This album has been integrally recorded analogically at Studio des Collines (France), allowing for Live takes. Mastering has also been undergoing the same process. It was the band’s personal request that their sound be treated the analogical way, thus capturing the team’s energy and sincerity. BREAKING FUEL’s sound is heavily tinted with the 70’s signature sound, mixed in with more centempory flavors, inviting the listener on an epic journey.
