Marco Defcode (Decoded Feedback) and Claus Larsen (Leæther Strip/Klutæ) team up together

06th of July 2014, 15:27

Sequential Access is an Old school EBM collaboration between Marco Defcode (Decoded Feedback) and Claus Larsen (Leæther Strip/Klutæ). Fittingly titled "Sex Addicts Anonymous", the resultant album is 13 tracks of pure golden era electro-industrial.

Percussive dance rhythms and arpeggiation are overlaid with catchy lyrics and melodies. "Sex Addicts Anonymous" finds Marco and Claus cranking out a brand of EBM that stomps one foot firmly in the present, one in the halcyon days of the old school European EBM movement of the 80's and 90's.

Blutengel-mastermind Chris Pohl brings you something special....

06th of July 2014, 15:25

Blutengel-mastermind Chris Pohl takes us on a trip into opulent Fantasy-worlds. Neo-classical orchestral pomp meets dark atmospheric Electronica on an epic album inspired by grand scale fantastic films and role playing games.

Inspired by the work on Blutengel's symphonic album “Black Symphonies” and his show at the first Gothic-Meets-Klassik-Festival, Chris Pohl remained fascinated by the massive sound that only a full orchestra can provide. Being a big fan of Fantasy-movies and computer role playing games and their soundtracks, he became enchanted by the idea of creating his own symphonic epics. And, hand on heart, which musician hasn't dreamed about making the tunes that accompany the films in our imagination a reality at least once in his life? With Blutengel-producer Mario Rühlicke, Chris found the ideal partner in crime who was just as obsessed with the idea of creating his very own symphonic epic.

With The Lonely Soul Experience, the duo does not aim for redefining the genres of classical orchestral music or film soundtracks, much rather attempting to approach this new frontier from a totally different angle. Therefore, “Path Of Blood” is a sort of re-interpretation of neoclassical music by two electronic musicians, resulting in a fascinating fusion of Electronica and symphonic structures that breathes some exciting and fresh new air into an old-fashioned genre. In 12 instrumental pieces and the gripping “Lara's Song”, The Lonely Soul Experience create dark monumental soundscapes that will leave you breathless.

An album to take in and really listen to... alone or with someone, after dark, by candlelight and with a glass of good wine: turn the volume up and dive into an enchanting sonic world.

Agonoize return to the front

06th of July 2014, 15:23

There's a rumble in Berlin, tonight! Terror-technicians Agonoize return with their most aggressive album to date, a fitting wake up call after their prolongued hiatus. „Apokalypse“ is a smashing tour de force coming from one of the most popular and controversial bands of the hard Electro-scene.

Calling the new Agonoize-album apocalyptic is almost a mild description for the Berlin-based lads' latest inferno of hard beats, brutal shouts and thudding bass. But Agonoize would not be Agonoize if they had not embedded a plethora of addictive hooklines and subversively catchy melodies into the core of all this mayhem. And the is not the only thing music that hits the listener square in the face like a fist, as the sonic terrorists are happily delving into all the dark sides of humanity on the lyrical side, as well. This includes vicious attacks on gentrification and selling out (in their native language of German... while at the same time taking a clear stance as to which end of the political spectrum they belong to, for anyone who cares to actually listen to the lyrics), wannabe hools with martial poses, the church and religious fanatics, as well as forays into all those nasty elements lurking under the surface of civilized society that the tabloids love to exploit, all infused with the band's special brand of pitch-black, tongue-in-cheek, humor.

With „Apokalypse“, Agonoize stay strictly in line with their motto: if we are too hard for you then just buzz off and listen to Synth Pop or Hip Hop, instead... but then the group's blood-soaked live shows will probably scare away the faint of heart, anyway. You might call the songs controversial... but Agonoize will just grin your face, show you the finger and hit you with another blast of electronic prowess!

And for all of you initiated who cannot get enough of this splatter-disco-madness, „Apokalypse“ will also be released as a deluxe 2CD version in a classy double Digipak, sporting a bonus live album, recorded in the band's native city. Agonoize are back with a bang – sporting the only real Aggro-sound from Berlin! The apocalypse has begun... and yes, there will be blood!
