Raw, uncompromising, and visceral, Skinny Puppy live cannot be called simply a concert. It is an experience. "Bootlegged, Broke And In Solvent Seas" proves this to be true. Recorded in Warsaw, Bratislava, Hildesheim, and Budapest, this is a documentation of Skinny Puppy in top form at their latest European tour. Unlike so many other live albums, there is no editing magic or trickery. These are the songs as they were played: captured from the soundboard by Ken ‘Hi-Watt’ Marshall. Ogre’s powerful vocal performances coupled with cEvin Key’s synth modulations and sound manipulations and the machine-precise drums of Justin Bennet make this a stunning testimony to the power of this legendary act. The album is to be released June 15 in Europe via Dependent.

Mike Herbage, one of the founders of Department S, kindly accepted to give his video greetings to the readers of Peek-a-boo after the show at REWIND FEST: watch the video below!
Mike explained how the band decided to cover Alvin Stardust's hit "My Coo-Ca-Choo" as an hommage to their original singer, Vaughan Toulouse, who was a huge fan of Alvin Stardust and unfortunately died of an AIDS related illness in 1991. Furthermore, the band will start working on a new album by the end of the year.

Crash Course In Science at REWIND FEST: Interview and live video of 'Flying Turns'
Michael Zodorozny, one of the founders of Crash Course In Science, the famous postpunk/prototechno band from Philadelphia, gave a short interview to Peek-a-boo after their show at the REWIND FEST in Ghent on 7th April. He said the festival is by far "the biggest show of their short European tour", which includes four shows.
He also explained how "Flying Turns", this legendary song from the album "Signals From Pier Thirteen", was recorded. As this original version is very hard to reproduce, the band is playing a remix version of it on stage. Michael also said that the band is considering re-recording the song again, with a different arrangement...

The Juggernauts, a brand new Belgian EBM formation led by Borg (also in Klinik and boss of Bodybeats) and Glenn (from Radical G), were giving their first gig ever at the REWIND FEST in Ghent last Saturday. During an interview with Peek-a-boo, Borg announced that the first album of the band will be called "The Juggernauts... Are Coming" and will be released by the end of the year.
The band will also be playing the "Industrial Boom Festival" in Budapest, Hungary at the end of the month, together with Front242, Neon Judgement, Absolute Body Control and 32Crash - a Belgian invasion of Hungary...
