Symphonic rock band INNER CORE present their first official video for the song 'Snowstorm'
With their first official video for the song "Snowstorm" the german female fronted symphonic rock band INNER CORE set the mark for the upcoming album "Soultaker", which was released on April, 6th.
The video was partly shot on a snowy mountain top location as well as in the live club Café Verkehrt.
It all starts in the core - this is what the ambitious symphonic metal / hard rock band INNER CORE from Lörrach (Germany) has been spreading through their music to the outside world since 2013. This core is surrounded, sustained and embodied by the five musicians Anna Rogg (vocals), Massimo Giardiello (guitar), Artur Schall (keys & vocals), Ricardo Echeverria (bass) and Stefan Zimmerling (drums).
Ten songs were produced in the Spacelab Studios by Christian "Moschus" Moos and mastered by well known producer / musician EROC - the birth of the first studio album "Soultaker".
Self-composed and written songs set a fire of melodious keyboard sounds, catchy guitar solos and fevered rhythms to the core. Anna's powerful voice gives every single song a distinctive touch and soul.
Born out of a fresh joy of playing, the charismatic voice of Anna and an excellent production, a variety of different songs will captivate the listener and make them look forward to the band's live shows.
Met hun eerste officiële video voor het lied "Snowstorm" gaf de Duitse symfonische popgroep INNER CORE het startschot voor het spliternieuwe album "Soultaker", dat op 6 april werd uitgebracht.
De video is deels opgenomen op een besneeuwde toplocatie in de bergen en in de live club Café Verkehrt.
Het begint allemaal in de kern - dit is wat de ambitieuze symfonische metal / hardrockband INNER CORE uit Lörrach (Duitsland) zich sinds 2013 via hun muziek naar de buitenwereld heeft verspreid. Zelf gecomponeerde en geschreven nummers zetten een vuurtje van melodieuze keyboardgeluiden, aanstekelijke gitaarsolo's en koortsige ritmes tot de kern. Anna's krachtige stem geeft elk nummer een onderscheidende toets en ziel.
Geboren uit een fris spelplezier, de charismatische stem van Anna en een uitstekende productie, zal een verscheidenheid aan verschillende nummers de luisteraar boeien en ze laten uitkijken naar de live shows van de band.
The current video for the song "New World" has now been released on the ECHOZONE Label channel. The visual presentation emphasizes the band's capabilities of creating complex and deeply emotional songs which they prove on the highly rated last album "monochrome".
Since their founding in 1994, Mills have worked their way through various stages of development and line-up changes. Today, the line-up consists of the founding members Alexander Steiner (guitar, keys) and Walter Glatz (vocals, keys) who also perform as a duo live on stage.
The current sound of Mills features a mix of synth pop, dark pop, gothic and partly dark electro. Their music is an exciting combination of various styles of the 80s, 90s and present day. The fusion of synth pop and slightly harder guitar riffs is reminiscent of the days of Depeche Mode's "Songs of Faith and Devotion", though without getting too close to this special style.
Strongly characterized by Walter Glatz' melancholy voice and instrumentally concentrated on the essentials, the eight songs from the new album "monochrome" proverbially float and take the listener into a dark and dreamy world full of audio-visual shades of grey. With every repeated listen, the album reveals new facets of emotional depths which boils the duo's musical goal down to an essence.

Electronic pop / dark synth band Huminoida's second full-length album is released in April as digital, CD and LP+CD formats. The Grey Area offers nine tracks of human emotions from the dark end of the scale. Melancholic synthpop, angsty new wave and harrowing beauty form the musical background for direct, unpretentious lyrics.
"This wasn't an easy album for me to make. The last three years haven't been exactly euphoric in my life or in the world in general and the anxiety of the times has affected the lyrics and overall mood of the tracks. There's no science fiction or surrealism this time, the themes on this album are very much of this world, this reality. That is one of the reasons why I decided to call it The Grey Area" explains K-K-, the sole member of Huminoida.
"The Grey Area" is an appropriate name also because musically it's kind of an oddball. It's not nice or "pleasant" album, and it disregard of trends and the genre-defying quality makes it difficult to pin down. To file it under "synthpop" may be a bit misleading. There are the melancholic electropop songs but also new-wave influenced and heavier lyric-driven tracks as well as the moody, beautiful tunes. It's diverse but I think a strong collection of songs."

Electronic pop/dark synth band Huminoida's tweede full album wordt in april uitgebracht als digitale, CD- en LP + CD-formaten. "The Grey Area" biedt 9 tracks van menselijke emoties vanaf het donkere einde van de schaal. Melancholische synthpop, angstige new wave en schrijnende schoonheid vormen de muzikale achtergrond voor directe, pretentieloze teksten.
"Dit was geen makkelijk album om te maken, de laatste drie jaren zijn niet echt euforisch geweest in mijn leven of in de wereld in het algemeen, en de angst van de tijd heeft de tekst en algemene stemming van de nummers beïnvloed. Er is deze keer geen sciencefiction of surrealisme, de thema's op dit album zijn heel veel van deze wereld, deze realiteit. Dat is een van de redenen waarom ik besloot het "The Grey Area" te noemen ", legt K-K- uit, het enige lid van Huminoida.
"The Grey Area" is ook een toepasselijke naam omdat het muzikaal nogal vreemd is. Het is geen leuk of "aangenaam" album, en het negeren van trends en de kwaliteit die het genre tart, maakt het moeilijk vast te spelden. Dat het album wordt geklasseerd onder "synthpop" kan een beetje misleidend zijn. Er zijn de melancholische elektropop songs, maar ook beïnvloed door new wave en zwaardere door lyric aangedreven nummers, evenals de humeurige mooie deuntjes.

THE CASCADES first new single from the upcoming album is called 'Behind The Curtain'
The new THE CASCADES video for the song "Behind The Curtain" was shot in Union Service Cinema, Elsdorf. The video and song present the classic gothic rock band as epic and charismatic as fans have hoped for.
After the release of their "Best Of" album "Diamonds & Rust" in Autumn 2017 which included songs from their first five albums as well as the new German title "Wenn der Regen kommt", gothic rockers The Cascades are back on track working on a brand new longplayer which is due for release in Autumn this year.
The first new single from the upcoming album is called "Behind The Curtain" and has been released along with a b-side of "Phase 4", which was only available as a demo on the Best Of album and now been finished in production. More singles and videos will be released within the next couple of months.
