New material by Epinephrin

11th of January 2014, 15:19

Epinephrin was founded in 2004 by Pascal Beniesch ([x]-Rx) as his first musical endeavor.

Shortly after, the first track ""664"" was released, and was very well received by the internet community. Encouraged by this positive response, Pascal began to produce more tracks In 2006, the song "Suicide" was featured on the widely known "Extreme Suendenfall" compilation. It was the first official release by Epinephrin.

A year later, more tracks were created and uploaded to Youtube. Tracks such as ""Schizophren"" and ""Die letzte schlacht"" reached more then 87,000 clicks and rank among the most well known underground tracks in the genre.

All the while, Mr. Beniesch was working with his other project [x]-Rx, which released four albums with multiple club hits and played numerous concerts all around the globe. On the side, he continued to write more Epinephrin tracks such as ""Glühend heiss"" and ""Energie"" which were released on the ""Endzeit Bunkrtracks Act V“ compilation in 2010.

Due to extreme pressure from fans, Pascal decided it was time to produce a full length Epinephrin record. Soon after, the band found the right home in early 2013 with Scanner / Dark Dimension Label Group.

Ready set Go! The final studio work on the album called "" ales auf anfang"" is complete and will be unleashed in 2013!

After five CDs and numerous live performances on stage, in concert and at festivals the band Still Patient? belonged to one of the influential Bands of Gothic Rock in Germany. The band decided to stop working together in 1999. But in 2012 they decided to reunite with some former and some new band members - the story continues.

Strong, temporary, atmospheric!

Still Patient? is reinventing itself without forgetting the past. The mix of traditional Gothic Rock combined with electronic elements and dark melodies has been transferred to today and seems fresh and stronger than ever before. This is visible in the new recordings of some of the old songs as well as in the newer material.

Blank Lung on M-Tronic

10th of January 2014, 16:42

Returning 4 years after the controversial and explosive releases ‘The Soul Consumer’ (on Ad Noiseam) and ‘Full Spectrum Dominance’ (on Ant-Zen/Tympanik) Dee Thrussell reactivates the Black Lung project for a 12” vinyl release on the French M-tronic label 8th February 2014. Commissioned in mid-2013 the 6 track 12” contains 3 brand new tracks and 3 impressive remixes by talented artists such as Matta, Sir Real and australian friends Monster Zoku Onsomb!

The tracks are analogue heavy (yet perky) motivational pieces strategically designed for the inspiration and provision of ethical and sustainable business solutions in today's turbulent corporate environment. A new kind of motivational resource, these energetic pieces are the perfect audio companion for high-powered corporate workshops, intense gym sessions, internal value conditioning and reflexive behavior modification. Commissioned by The Pan-National Ayn Rand Institute and Patrons 2013. Original works composed by D. Thrussell (A&G Songs). Executed by Black Lung at Oak Manor & Gardens 2014.

Black Lung: Shaping the Moral, Spiritual, Cultural, Political and Economic outlook for the contemporary business environment.

"The Business Of Selling" Vinyl EP is strictly limited to 300 copies worldwide and presents the best work of Black Lung so far, keeping the industrial touch but adding some massive analogic synths.

Also out on M-Tronic: GEOMATIC vs LAGOWSKI

This album is the meeting between 2 great composers active in the wider industrial fields. Geomatic belongs to the most creative generation of talented composers, which is mainly inspired by tribal & IDM. Andrew Lagowski is an old servant of the industrial scene who explored multiple creative grounds, got involved in numerous collaborations and projects. “Cosmochemistry” is meant to be the symbolic key to enter in new/other dimensions.

This opus is a brilliant production: Geomatic remains faithful to its typical Eastern-mystic atmospheres and tribal influences we discovered on outstanding albums like “Blue Beam” and “64 Light Years Away”. The input of Lagowski appears in the darker and sometimes experimental passages of this work.

The album features 9 cuts, which progressively rise to an absolute apotheosis, and finishes with two brilliant remixes by the french industrial duo Ex_Tension and Dj Element (aka Laurent Le Fers label manager at M-tronic).

The progression of the tracks left breathless. Both artists perfectly know the way to built up a song until it reaches a pure sonic orgasm. “Plasma Spirals” is the ultimate track in the genre, which gets you in its grip for more than 8 minutes. The electronic treatments are absolutely awesome. Moving in between space-like tones, cold sound waves and Eastern inspired atmospheres this opus brings you in a state of trance.

“Cosmochemistry” first of all is pure sound chemistry and will be for sure one of the best albums of 2014 !

Helm announces new EP for PAN

09th of January 2014, 19:12

PAN presents four vital concrète incursions by nether field traveller Luke Younger aka Helm, marking his first transmissions since the studio rituals that birthed his highly acclaimed Impossible Symmetry and Silencer releases.

The Hollow Organ toes a deliberate line in the mud between his previous transgressions and a chokingly dank realisation of his most untoward, paralytic sound. Poised as a dark interpreter between the grotesque and the transcendent, he activates research gleaned from his petrifying live performances coupled with an increasingly squalid and visceral palette of anguished machine voices, sub-zero drones and bone-scraped rhythmic noise to divine unearthly space somewhere between semi-legal horror soundtrack and hyperstitious surreality.

Its opening gambit, 'Carrier' is the most succinct and uncannily ambiguous; perilously close to Gas-like ambient pop but rescued from serenity by manic tape spool and excoriating, demonic vocal. The vortex of 'Analogues' proceeds, ploughed by stereo-twinned engines of churning tape loops to a pitch black, eschatalogical climax, and 'Spiteful Jester' feels like the unshakable onset of a panic attack, ratcheting the intensity with blank-eyed, stoic method. For ten minutes 'The Hollow Organ' drains last with an unnerving, quiet blood-letting of carmine iron drones evaporating ferric overtones whilst percussions clank in your blind spot behind the screen.

The 12" is mastered and cut by Matt Colton at Alchemy. It is pressed on 140g white vinyl which itself is housed in a silk screened pvc sleeve with artwork by Bill Kouligas.

Helm will be heading out for a string of UK dates with Damien Dubrovnik (Posh Isolation) in February. Listen to the track "Analogues" and check out Helm's tour dates / EP info below!
