The Belgian punk legend The Kids celebrates its 40 years of existence this year. During four decades the Belgians aren’t ashamed to have their say, and they played the whole world with their punk anthemsThe Belgian birthday parties are at :27th FEBRUARY Ghent , De Centrale4th MARCH Sint-Niklaas, De Casino.In Ghent the rock band Black Tolex will be the support act.
De Belgische punklegende The Kids heeft dit jaar een feestje te vieren: ze bestaan dit jaar 40 jaar. Vier decennia lang schoppen de Belgen met plezier tegen de schenen. En met succes, want hun punkanthems worden wereldwijd op concerten meegebruld.
De verjaardagsfeestjes gaan door in:
27 FEBRUARI Gent, De Centrale
4 MAART Sint-Niklaas, De Casino.
Tijdens het optreden staat Black Tolex als voorprogramma op de planken, onversneden rock uit (jawel!) Anzegem.
Earlier the organizers of BIM already announced that à;GRUMH... would be one of the headliners of the edition of 2016. But there is more news.
First and foremost there is a new location. BIM will be held this year at De Casino in Sint-Niklaas.
And there are three groups added: EX- RZ (the new band by Red Zebra - man Peter Slabbynck ) Signal Aout 42 and A Split-Second.

Eerder kondigden de organisatoren van BIM reeds aan dat à;GRUMH... één van de hoofdacts van het festival zou worden. Maar er is meer.
Eerst en vooral is er een nieuwe locatie. BIM wordt dit jaar in De Casino in Sint-Niklaas georganiseerd. Verloren lopen is geen optie, want de zaal is amper drie minuten van het station verwijderd.
En er zijn ook drie groepen aan het feestje toegevoegd: EX-RZ (de nieuwe band van Red Zebra-man Peter Slabbynck), Signal Aout 42 en A Split-Second.

Wind [Re ] Wind , the album that was released on the label of Dirk Ivens (Minimal Maximal ) in 2007, is now also out via Mecanica on red vinyl. You better be quick, because this gadget is limited to 520 (you read that right!) copies.This red vinyl (first 100 copies on silkscreen print) includes new versions and live recordings.
Wind[Re]Wind, de lp die in 2007 op het label van Dirk Ivens (Minimal Maximal) werd uitgebracht, is nu ook via Mecanica Records op rood vinyl verkrijgbaar. Wees er wel vlug bij, want het hebbeding is gelimiteerd op 520 (je leest dat juist!) exemplaren. Er staan tevens nieuwe versies en liveopnames op dit rood vinyl , de eerste 100 kopiën zijn op silkscreen print.
After the success of Electro Convulsion Therapy, Sleepless Berlin offers another old tape by Suicide Commando in a digital form: Black Flowers which was originally released in 1991.
Also out on the same label is the new Monolith (aka Eric Van Wonterghem ): Time Running Out
And there’s a compilation on the label as well: Not So Cold - A Warm Wave Compilation. Two tapes that have previously been released on Tacuara Records!
