Jerry (Ryan Reynolds) is that chipper guy clocking the nine-to-five at a bathtub factory, with the offbeat charm of anyone who could use a few friends. With the help of his court-appointed psychiatrist, he pursues his office crush (Gemma Arterton). However, the relationship takes a sudden, murderous turn after she stands him up for a date. Guided by his evil talking cat and benevolent talking dog, Jerry must decide whether to keep striving for normalcy, or indulge in a much more sinister path.

De lieve en knappe Jerry (Ryan Reynolds) heeft een bizarre relatie met zijn kat en hond. Hij deelt het huis met zijn doortrapte kat Mr. Whiskers en trouwe hond Bosco. Terwijl Mr. Whiskers er alles aan doet om Jerry ervan te overtuigen dat hij een seriemoordenaar is, houdt Bosco hem op het rechte pad. Het is pas wanneer hij per ongeluk zijn bloedmooie collega Fiona (Gemma Arterton) vermoordt dat hij besluit om zijn medicatie terug te nemen. En de realiteit blijkt toch niet zo rooskleurig te zijn als hij had gehoopt.
Marjane Satrapi is in de filmwereld bekend geworden met de Oscar genomineerde animatiefilm ‘Persepolis’. Met ‘The Voices’ bewijst ze opnieuw haar veelzijdig talent als regisseur.

James Cameron’s seen Terminator: Genisys. And that crazy twist? He loved it! He says he thinks of this film as “the third film.” Sorry, Rise of the Machines and Salvation. Genisys is the new reality.
Cameron self-identifies as a “fanboy” in watching Genisys and he offers reasons why he thinks the franchise worked (characters!) and why the new film is so good (“It’s all about the twist!”). He really, really believes in Genisys, saying that as he watched it: I start to see things I recognize. It’s being very respectful of first two films. Then all of the sudden, it just swerves. And now I’m going on a journey. I feel like the franchise has been reinvigorated, like this is a renaissance.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt vertolkt in THE WALK de Franse koordloper Philippe Petit.
Philippe Petit legde in 1974 op een koord de afstand tussen de twee Twin Towers af en dit op een hoogte van 400m. Zonder enige bescherming en 45 minuten lang riskeerde hij zijn leven terwijl duizenden mensen bang toekeken en de politie hem stond op te wachten om hem te arresteren.
