For the first time EVER on Blu-ray and remastered DVD, we Third Window Shinya Tsukamoto's classic TOKYO FIST out with a brand new restoration from the original negatives done by Tsukamoto himself!
Once again Tsukamoto steps out from behind the camera and stars as Tsuda, an archetypal Japanese salaryman. He’s married to polite and compliant Hizuru (Kaori Fujii), the dictionary definition of an ideal Japanese wife. Their life is happy, at least on the surface, at least until Kojima (played by Tsukamoto’s own real life brother, Kôji), a friend from his past, shows up on the scene. As a pro boxer Kôji’s business is violence and even before the proverbial sand is kicked in Tsuda’s face we can already sense the wonder and jealousy with which he views his brother’s transformed body. Only once Kojima seduces Hizuru, revealing that he just doesn’t excel at physical violence, but mental and emotional brutality as well, does Tsuda get himself to the gym and into training so he can wreak his revenge with his fists.

With two weeks left before the official release of his new album on Ad Noiseam, Berlin-based Monolog presents a free podcast.
With three previous albums already and a history as a guitar player for extreme metal combos, Denmark's Mads Lindgren is no newcomer. It is however only since his relocation to Berlin a few years ago that the spotlight has been slowly moving in his direction (and rightfully so).
With his broad influences, his extensive music knowledge (it's no surprise that his résumé includes working for Native Instruments and Ableton) and his painstaking love for details, Monolog has impressed many audiences in the German capital over the years and gathered the praises of his peers, as demonstrated here by the collaborative tracks with Dean Rodell (Underhill, Machine Code), Ivan Shopov (Cooh, Balkansky) and Simon Hayes (Swarm Intelligence).
