Good news for fans of The Cult , because in February their new CD Hidden City will be released. The single Dark Energy (see below) is now already available as an audio video.
The tenth album of The Cult is written by Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy, and was produced by Bob Rock and will be out on 5th February.
Hidden City is described by the group as the final part of a trilogy that started in 2007 with Born Into This. European concerts soon will be confirmed.

Het tiende album van The Cult dat is geschreven door Ian Astbury en Billy Duffy, en werd geproduceerd door Bob Rock verschijnt op 5 februari.
Hidden City wordt door de groep omschreven als het laatste deel uit een trilogie dat in 2007 startte met Born Into This. Er is al sprake van optredens in de UK, duimen dus dat ze België niet laten links liggen!
It Does not Matter , Now was released in 1983 and it was the first lp of Kirlian Camera. This lp featured songs like Communicate and Edges , tracks that were featured on the television. Also in the clubs the album was a hit and immediately it became clear that Kirlian Camera would become the most important new wave act from Italy.
Of course this album is one of the largest collectors of their oeuvre and impossible to find. The label Norton North that already released the compilation Radio Music has now released the debut CD. The original recordings of Angelo Bergamini and Simona Buja are completely remastered and there is even a new cover !
But hurry, because this release is made on 2000 copies!
Northon North also released these Kirlian Camera items: the mini CD Andromeda Complex , the EP The Three Shadows and Todesengel.

It Doesn’t Matter, Now verscheen in 1983 en was de allereerste lp van Kirlian Camera. Op deze lp stonden nummers als Communicate en Edges waarmee de Italiaanse band voor het eerst op de televisie kwam. Ook in de clubs sloeg het album aan en meteen werd duidelijk dat Kirlian Camera de belangrijkste new wave act uit Italië zou worden. Het was het geluid waarmee ze tot op vandaag mee bekend mee zijn.
Natuurlijk is deze plaat één van de grootste collectors uit hun oeuvre en zo goed als onvindbaar. Het label Norton North dat eerder al de verzamelaar Radio Music uitbracht heeft nu het debuut op cd uitgebracht en de originele opnames van Angelo Bergamini en Simona Buja zijn volledig geremasterd en er is zelfs een nieuwe hoes!
Rep je wel want de CD is uitgebracht op 2000 exemplaren!

De affiche van Waveteef was al behoorlijk indrukwekkend, maar vandaag kondigden de organisatoren aan dat ook de Italiaanse darkwave act The Frozen Autumn aan het lijstje wordt toegevoegd.

We always said it, but it's true: everything comes back and so do La Muerte. Last year they played at the Ancienne Belgique, full with new energy and that inspired the band to go on.
This show is now available on 180gr. vinyl, including with a digital download.
The record was produced by La Muerte and masterd in New York by Alan Douches (Motörhead, Dillinger Escape Plan, Sepultura...).
But there’s more. La Muerte played some big festivals like Sjock, Dour and Lokerse Feesten. They even composed new songs, and now there are some new gigs.

We hebben het altijd gezegd, maar het is zo: alles komt terug en dus ook La Muerte. Vorig jaar stonden ze in de Ancienne Belgique, vol nieuwe energie en dat gaf de band ontzettend veel zin om door te gaan.
Dit optreden is nu op lp beschikbaar, op vinyl 180 gr, inclusief met digitale download.
De plaat werd geproduceerd door La Muerte en in New York gemasterd door Alan Douches (Motörhead, Dillinger Escape Plan, Sepultura...).
Het bleef echter niet bij dat ene concert. La Muerte speelde nog op een aantal grote festivals zoals Sjock, Dour en de Lokerse Feesten. Er werden zelfs nieuwe nummers gecomponeerd, en nu zijn er alweer nieuwe optredens.

Peek-A-Boo Presents the first song of the new Wool-E Tapes release by Whispering Sons
Wall is the first song from the new Wool-E Tapes release by young upcoming Belgian coldwave/shoegaze band Whispering Sons scheduled for mid December.
The 5-piece hails from Houthalen-Helchteren, but studies and resides in Leuven. They take their influences from Chameleons, Cocteau Twins, Magazine,Cure, Beatles and last but not least Moral, the Danish postpunk/minimal wave band from whom's song they took their name.
Whispering Sons started in 2013 as a 4-piece, with the addition of singer Fenne and the recording of a demo Cdr in 2014 things became more seriously. In April 2015 they won the Brussels Rockrace at the AB-club and in May they were voted vi.be of the month in Indiestyle.
On 23 Decmber they present their new release at the Kinky Star in Gent.
At the same moment two other Wool-E tapes will be released: the 2nd Factice Factory album and the solodebut from Implant's Jan Dhooghe.
Wall is de eerste song van de nieuwe Wool-E Tapes release van het jonge aanstormend coldwave/shoegaze talent Whispering Sons, die gepland staat voor midden December.
Het 5-tal heeft zijn roots in Houthalen*Helchteren, maar woont en studeert in Leuven. Hun invloeden halen ze bij Chameleons, Cocteau Twins, Magazine, Cure, Beatles en zeker niet in het minst Moral, de Deense band aan wiens song ze hun naam ontleenden.
Whispering Sons begon in 2013 als een 4-tal, maar met de aanvulling van zangeres Fenne en de opname van een demo-cdr in 2014 kwamen de dingen in een stroomversnelling en werd alles wat serieuzer aangepakt. In April 2015 wonnen ze de Brusselse Rockrace in de AB-club en in Mei werden ze vi;be van de maand bij Indiestyle.
Op 23 December stellen ze hun tape voor in de Gentse Kinky Star club.
Samen met deze tape releaset Wool-E Tapes ook de nieuwe Factice Factory en het solodebuut van Jan Dhooghe van Implant.
