Our friends and partners from the Fantastique.Nights are celebrating their 15th year of existence and meanwhile also their 50th party night! No better way to celebrate this special event than with a 100% made in Belgium line-up concert night!
With the Brussels based and far beyond the Belgian borders known electronic music pioneers Parade Ground as top of the bill, The Juggernauts perpetuating the national Belgian EBM tradition and Simi Nah performing some of their best dark but catchy electro tunes this will certainly be another night to remember and thus not to be missed!

THE FORCE DIMENSION - Machinesex (D1067CD)
20 years went by since the last release from this cult band but the waiting is over ! René van Dijck (synthesizers, vocals) and Betty Correa (vocals, guitar, percussion) presents you 13 brand-new tracks produced by the band themselves and mastered by Eric Van Wonterghem.
This album is a joined collaboration between Daft Records and the Noise Democracy Records label from Brasil.

Rue Oberkampf - Le train (2016) | Cover of Absolute Body Control - Melting away (1983)
Rue Oberkampf is a Coldwave/Minimal/EBM band from Passau, a German city near Munich, situated along the Austrian border.
The song they present in this video is a cover of the 1983 song ‘Melting away’ of the Belgian minimal cult band ’Absolute Body Control’. The lyrics of the original song however are replaced by words which are inspired by Georges Simenon's book "Le train", which was released in 1961.

EX-RZ (ex-Red Zebra) has been touring for a while as a duo but now, Peter Slabbynck and Frits Standaert found the time was right to expand the band. And they do this with no-one less then Steven Janssen (Daan, Mark Lanegan) on guitars and with Steve Slingeneyer (Soulwax), who will takes place behind the drumkit.
On BimFest XV they will perform for the very first time with this new line-up.
It will be quite a change of habit for Peter Slabbynck as he explains: "It took me some time to get used playing with a backing track running from a laptop, and now I have to get used again playing with a real four piece band. Although there will still be some electronics to be heared, we also have decided to play those Red Zebra classics songs again like the original versions. Since I didn’t play them myself like that for some years now, this will make the concert even more exciting for everyone!
EX-RZ will perform on the second day of the 100% Belgian and 15th edition of BIMFEST, Saturday December 17th together with à;GRUMH..., A Split-Second, Aroma Di Amore, Signal Aout'42, Struggler, Vita Noctis & Euforic Existence
EX-RZ (ex-Red Zebra) tourt al een tijdje in binnen- en buitenland in een tweemansbezetting. Nu vonden Peter Slabbynck en Frits Standaert de tijd rijp om de groep uit te breiden en niet met de minsten. Steven Janssen (Daan, Mark Lanegan) komt er bij op gitaar, Steve Slingeneyer (Soulwax) neemt plaats achter de drums. Op BimFest XV wordt voor het eerst opgetreden met de nieuwe bezetting.
Het zal even aanpassen zijn voor zanger Peter Slabbynck.
Hij legt uit: ‘Zoals het voor mij een paar jaar terug wennen was aan de laptop, zo is het nu ook weer wennen aan plots met vier man spelen. Al zal er hier en daar nog wat elektronica te horen zijn. Bovendien hebben we voor wat de oudere Red Zebra nummers betreft, besloten terug te gaan naar de oorspronkelijke versies. Die heb ik al in jaren niet meer gespeeld. Zo wordt optreden weer een stuk spannender.’
