Waxwork Records announces deluxe re-issue of Clive Barker's Nightbreed score
Waxwork Records are proud to present the deluxe LP re-issue of Danny Elfman’s score to Clive Barker's NIGHTBREED.
Long out of print and prohibitively expensive, the original soundtrack release of Nightbreed has become a sought after collectable LP for horror fans and vinyl soundtrack enthusiasts alike.
Waxwork Records have released the NIGHTBREED soundtrack as a deluxe re-issue vinyl LP package featuring re-mastered audio, incredible full package art-work by Rich Kelly, 180 gram colored vinyl, and high quality packaging.
Fans of Clive Barker, horror, soundtracks, and vinyl can now look no further for an overpriced, out of print version of this remarkable, classic score by the legendary Danny Elfman. This is the attainable, super high standard real deal straight from the depths of Midian.
Following the announcement of their first full studio release in a decade, Music Complete, out on 25 September 2015, New Order have announced details of the very special guests on the album: Brandon Flowers, Iggy Pop and Elly Jackson (La Roux) and have released the third in a series of album trailers. Go to http://po.st/NewOrderYouTube to hear three different sides of what you can expect from the new album.
Brandon Flowers named The Killers after the band in New Order’s video for ‘Crystal’, and has become a good friend of the band. Here on Music Complete he lends his unmistakable vocals on ‘Superheated’, giving the album a fittingly epic closer.
Following an enthralling guest appearance performing ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ at the Tibet House benefit in New York last year, Iggy Pop now applies his unique tones to ‘Stray Dog’, creating a brooding track that blends perfectly with the eclectic array of sounds on Music Complete.
Featuring on ‘Tutti Frutti’ and ‘People On The High Line’ and providing backing vocals on ‘Plastic’, Elly Jackson first supported New Order on their 2014 tour with her band La Roux, starting a mutual appreciation of each other’s work.
In addition to this stellar cast of guests, New Order will be showcasing their new album with live shows in the UK and Europe.

Arrow is thrilled to announce the UK premiere Blu-ray release of Robert Altman’s celebrated classic, 3 Women, the 1977 acclaimed master work that pipped Star Wars to top Roger Ebert’s films of the year on its initial release. Presented in a glorious new 4k digital transfer, this restored dream-like masterpiece of cinema will be available on Blu-ray from 13th July 2015.
The latest Robert Altman release to come from Arrow Academy (following The Long Goodbye) this new disc will feature an interview with David Thompson, editor of Altman on Altman and producer of the BBC’s Robert Altman in England. The disc will also include an archive interview with Shelley Duvall from the Cannes Film Festival (where she won the Best Actress Award) in which she describes working with Altman, his methods and how she started acting.
Rounding off the disc are image galleries featuring behind-the-scenes photos, the Cannes Film Festival press conference and promotional shots. The Blu-ray comes with a collector’s booklet with new writing on the film by film critic David Jenkins and excerpts from Altman on Altman, illustrated with original stills.
Synopsis
Maverick filmmaker Robert Altman continued a stunning run of celebrated work that included McCabe & Mrs. Miller, The Long Goodbye and Nashville with 3 Women, a dreamy masterpiece that would fend off the titanic Star Wars as Roger Ebert’s best film of 1977.
Shy and impressionable Pinky (Sissy Spacek, Badlands, Carrie) strikes up a friendship with her fellow nurse ‘Thoroughly Modern’ Millie (Shelley Duvall, Nashville, Thieves Like Us). As the two spend more time together Pinky becomes dependent on Millie, adopting aspects of her personality and appearance. Things take an unusual and darker turn as Pinky discovers Millie with a man, a local bar owner whose wife (Janice Rule) forms the third of the title’s three women.
Based on a series of dreams and influenced by Ingmar Bergman’s Persona, Robert Altman cut the deal for 3 Women with Twentieth Century Fox in a matter of minutes and the remarkable faith of the studio would produce one of the most striking works of the period.

Synopsis
Zeven jaar na 'You, the Living' komt Roy Andersson, de koning van de absurde Zweedse humor, eindelijk met een nieuwe film. Een film die door Andersson zelf werd aangekondigd als een tragische komedie over ons allen.
Holger Andersson en Nisse Vestblom geven in A PIGEON SAT ON A BRANCH REFLECTING ON EXISTENCE gestalte aan twee melancholische verkopers van fopartikelen.
