In our daily series Peek-A-Boo presents Psyche, a band that can be stated as one of the inventors of synthpop.

On 12 and 13 April, the REWIND FEST lineup will include Lebanon Hanover. This duo formed in 2010 includes Laurissa Iceglass, originally from Switzerland, on vocals, guitars and synths and William Maybelline, from England, on vocals, bass and synths. They take their girl/boy vocals, razor sharp guitars and brooding bass-lines to create some sort of synthetic apocalyptic pop, reminiscent of Siouxsie, Cure, Bauhaus or Xmal Deutschland.
Last year, they played an intimate concert at Mr Wong in Brussels (a concert organized by Romance Moderne) and earlier this year, they gave a remarkable performance at the Grauzone Festival in Amsterdam. Check the Peek-a-boo review here.
After two widely acclaimed albums, "The World Is Getting Colder" and "Why Not Just Be Solo", both released in 2012 on Fabrika Records and gone sold-out pretty quickly, they are clearly one of the major acts on the cold wave / minimal wave scene right now. Don't miss them!

The news pages will these days be mostly covered by the Rewind Fest and that is of course because this two day festival in Gent is the musical event we're most looking forward to.
As promised, every day, we'll put a band in the picture that will be on the festival. Especially read about those you know not so much about, as you might miss something.
Simi Nah perhaps. Those who were at BIMfest know that this is a concert that cannot be missed.
Click here to a read the review of their performance at BIM (+ a short backstage interview). You can also read the interview we made last year here.

Easter weekend is always a bit black in Belgium.
On Friday 12th and Saturday 13th April you can see the cream of the crop of alternative electronics and dark music in the Vooruit.
Every day Peek-A-Boo will present you a band along with some backgroundinformation.
We kick off with Der Klinke, a Belgian band that doesn't need introduction.
