Arrow Films, the distributor of The Voices and Good Kill are pleased to announce the home entertainment release of the acclaimed Argentinean thriller The Burning, this ‘Machete Western' which premiered in Official Selection at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival, arrives on Blu-ray and DVD from 10th August 2015.
Honing the spirit of Sergio Leone and echoing shades of Rambo First Blood, Argentinean director Pablo Fendrik’s slow-building thriller is essential viewing for all fans of world cinema. Gael Garcia Bernal (Babel, The Motorcycle Diaries) joins forces with Alice Braga (I Am Legend, Elysium) in this tale of unfolding revenge.
Kai (Garcia Bernal), a mysterious and mystical figure, emerges from the Argentinean rainforest to rescue Vania (Braga), who has been kidnapped by mercenaries. Together they face off against the men who have ruthlessly murdered Vania’s father, a poor farmer, and taken over his land.
Part love story, part western, Fendrik turns this latter genre on its head as so-called civilisation becomes a destructive force over both the rich jungle setting and the communities living within it.
The Burning premiered in Official Selection at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival following Fendrik’s previous two films’ selection in Critics’ Week at Cannes: Blood Appears (La Sangre Brota) and The Mugger (El Asaltante). Garcia Bernal also takes an executive producer credit.

It is the last chapter of the "Haunted Summer Album Period".
The band are currently working on our 3rd album, to be released later this year.
This will be released by the Italien label RUSTBLADE.
The project started in 2011 after a common Post New Wave. Joris Oster, Olivier Justin and Raphaël Haubourdin decided to create an electro/coldwave band merging the power of a fuzzy bass guitar with electronic signals. After few nights spent in a recording studio, Alchemy took place Joris, Olivier and Raphaël write songs together and provide innovative sounds excluding guitars in favor of vintage synthetizers and burning bass lines.
After a first album “Under your carbon constellation” released in 2013, ORGANIC toured around 40 dates in Europe including support acts for Agent Side Grinder and Graham Coxon.
Now the band is proud to present a second album called “Empty century” co-released on Manic Depression (FR) and Swiss Dark Nights (CH/IT). Line-up and Concept remain the same but songs are now about our new century filled with disillusionments and hopes.
ORGANIC, an effective and original project to shake you head.
