"Joel and I will be working together on something for my show real soon", says a still modelesqe Maria Brink after her blazing, high-energy audio/visual assault on Raleigh, N.C. last night (Friday, July 17th). Her band, Metal sensations, In This Moment had International Award-Winning Rock-N-Roll Magician Joel Givens perform his jaw dropping and recently highly publicized brand of precision sleight-of-hand magic for their friends and guests at the VIP After-Show Meet & Greet. What neither camp knew was how that one event would have Joel on the tour bus personally performing some of his most dexterous signature effects to date for Maria and her entourage of stage dancers. "It was just crazy", Givens says. "I thought I'd possibly get to meet her and have a picture taken, but not this! We ended up kind of mapping out an illusion I'm going to create for her and then teach her how to do for her show. I'm gonna be a good magician and not give away the secret of what she's planning, but let's just say when she told me the idea, I got excited about wanting to see someone else do magic. She's really creative, man. People better buckle-up, she's gonna kill it with this!"
oel Givens, talked about amongst the stars of screen, sports and music; like Godsmack, Pat Benatar, Michael Jordan, Yes, Dan Akroyd, ZZTop, Kevin Costner, Train, Third Eye Blind, Like A Storm, Peyton Manning, Alice Cooper and others as the "Magic That Rocks", is a triple-threat. Not only is he an Award Winning Magician, but he's a brilliant comedian and music trivia encyclopedia! "I'm coming for you, Eddie Trunk!", Joel snickers as he tells a reporter for the local news covering the Pat Benatar show where he performed earlier this month for the Rock Legend backstage. "It's a dream of mine to perform for Eddie and a couple of his music guests on VH-1's That Metal Show. I'm a huge fan!"
Experience Joel Givens and Magic That Rocks backstage and at VIP After-Parties throughout the East Coast this summer and fall. With upcoming performances for Scorpions, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Lita Ford, Pop Evil, KIX, ZZ-Top, Marylin Manson, Alice Cooper and others planned before the end of summer 2015, you'll have plenty of opportunity to catch him at a venue near you!
Los Angeles based Extreme Metal band Urilia has announced the pre-order of their debut EP "The Adversarial Light" which will be released on August 11th.
The goal of this EP was to create a sound that combines a blend of European-style Metal with American Metal, ranging from Symphonic Black Metal, Melodic Death Metal, Groove Metal, and all other forms of Extreme Metal. This fusion of hard-hitting brutality will annihilate viewers with fast speed picking riffs and heavy breakdowns, mixed with eerie symphonic/apocalyptic orchestrated keyboards. Produced, mixed, and mastered by Mick Kenney, the mastermind behind Anaal Nathrakh, who also worked with artists such as Bleeding Through, Motionless in White, The Witch Was Right, Suffer Well, and much more. This album is perfect for fans of all sub-genres of Metal.
The overall message behind this EP is to educate our fans on dark spirituality, and how to utilize Left Hand Path energy to cultivate the inner strength and wisdom that is too often lost within a modern society that undervalues authenticity and personal power, and serves to keep us bound by pervasive and limiting cultural norms, narrow-mindedness, and corruption. The Adversarial Light is also based on one of the many books written by Occult writer/leader of the 'Order of Phosphorus', Michael W. Ford, based on the Luciferian Path.
We hope everyone enjoys this EP, and that the power in the message inspires our fans to continue growing and breaking free. - Kristof Bathory (Urilia)

Necronomicon -
Here is a new and improved vision of Extreme Metal that combines a European style of Metal with an American style that also strikes with a powerful message from a path based on Occultism, Dark Spirituality, and Left Hand Path beliefs that will now spread like a plague throughout the Metal scene..

A Gathering Together is Ron Morelli’s second full-length for Hospital Productions: a 'techno' cacophony brought to its granular detail and reduced to its most elemental tonal depths. A cohesive fusion of surreal and feverish deja vu loops, brittle noise, fucked rhythms, scrap metal percussions, pro-one metal synths, and an injection of near-buried, Drano vocal samples, it’s a fearsome celebration of brokenness, of amplified surroundings.
Stereo-shifting drones and driving rhythms that tell the stories of those now gone, more a soundtrack for a wake than 4/4 crafted for the dancefloor. There’s a naked anxiety at work that doesn't turn away from loss, but runs with an excited melancholy that looks to a future that won’t exist. The boldness of the gestures are not to be confused with exuberance.
With this effort Morelli has shown remarkable restraint and patience most notably highlighted on title track 'A Gathering Together.' An intense cut born from rapid-paced dead-end urban environments that force people together. It's a calling to do more, include more, and celebrate the many forms within those inconspicuous places.
Upon numerous listens, it's clear the sound design is a reflection of heavy compositional themes that suggest a greater whole. This is hard, dirty techno--humid, reduced, bare bones, yet dense and dissolved to its electronic soil.
Heavy without being oppressive, it is the culmination of many elements pulled from all spheres of modern electronics, eaten, digested, and spit back out. Produced at the end of 2014, with final mixdown and additional production in spring 2015 by Krikor Kouchian and Ron Morelli in Paris, Hospital Productions is proud to offer A Gathering Together.
About Ron Morelli:
Quietly kicking around the New York City underground since the late-nineties, Ron Morelli started the L.I.E.S. label in 2010 as an outlet to release the music of a tight knit group of friends who were making tracks around the city. What started as a small project to release his own music and those of local producers, the label slowly evolved as more people came out of the woodwork with their contributions.
As time has progressed, the label continues on to be a highly respected institution and consistent mainstay in the weird world of off center electronic music. Releases have come from the likes of artists as diverse as techno pioneer Adam-X, Dutch synth master Legowelt, Black Dice's Eric Copeland, upstart house producer Delroy Edwards, and Miami native Greg Beato all appeared on L.I.E.S. expansive roster.
2013 and 2014 saw Morelli step a bit further into the production realm, releasing two albums and one 12 inch for New York City's Hospital Productions imprint run by Dominick Fernow. He continues to work closely with Hospital with regards to his production and DJ's on a weekly basis around the globe.
