Before either of these, Redroom will release Redroom 012; a limited-edition (500 copies) top quality hardback poetry book, by Keith Howden, father of Matt. The book comes with a matching CD of the author reading his poetry, set to music by Matt Howden, plus a symphonic piece at the end that pulls together all the musical threads in Barley Top.
Release date is 1st May 2013, for both the physical and e book/digital audio.
Plastic Frog Records founded the sublabel HOLY HOUR RECORDS (Music for Dark Wave, Cold Wave, Psychedelic, Bat Cave and Alternative Music). Their first releases will be "Wound In Wall" of FEEDING FINGERS (their first album from August 2007, the first time on vinyl) in early summer 2013.
The first 100 copies of the vinyl album are with an unreleased bonus 7".
The next record will be a cd of SHADOWPLAY (their first album).
The next release on Plastic Frog Records will be the minimal electronic compilation "Frogmania II" on 12" vinyl with Psyche, Nine Circles, Epic Dreams and many more. In 2013 we will release the first album of INFRA RED (a minimal electronica band from Scotland and Germany) and many more.
New CYGNOSIC album:
The new CYGNOSIC album "Fire and Forget" will be released simultaneously via Black Rain (Europe) und DeathWatch Asia (Japan/world) on March 22nd. CYGNOSIC is an outstanding Greek Electro project and became widely known with their predecessor albums "A Diety in Pain" and "Fallen". As much as these two releases were critically acclaimed, CYGNOSIC fans will also definitely love "Fire and Forget".

New POLARLICHT 4.1 album:
"A Collection of Blech- und Hausmusik" is the title of the new POLARLICHT 4.1 album which is soon to be released. "A Collection of Blech- und Hausmusik" comes up as a skillfully compiled collection of early POLARLICHT 4.1 tracks. Some of them were composed more than 12 years ago. Moreover you will find exclusive collaborations with FLINT GLASS, WYNARDTAGE and SUPERSIMMETRIA as well as brand-new tracks and rare material. "A Collection of Blech- und Hausmusik" also includes 2 remixes by WYNARDTAGE and ECHORAUSCH and a track from POLARLICHT 4.1´s side project TRANSISTOR. The CD will be released as a limited edition in a 6-page-figifile and also as two strictly limited editions in special wooden boxes - limited to 12 and 66 copies.

ILLUSION OF SAFETY started in Chicago almost 30 years ago with their vision of dark & morbid atmospheric industrial music and soon became one of the inventors of what was then called 'Ambient Industrial', the marriage of these two very different styles & approaches.
Since then, IOS never failed to surprise their listeners, going through many musical changes with various live members using elements of improvisation, electro-acoustic music,sound collages, sublime drones (especially in the 90's before it became a well-known notion) and noise (and only imagine that JIM O'ROURKE started his career as the 19-year old live guitarist of ILLUSION OF SAFETY!).
Drone Records are very happy IOS (at this time mastermind DANIEL BURKE only) recorded pieces for our special concept 10" series that again mark a very unexpected change: SWEET DREAMS is an almost 'psychedelic' record, using many incredible acousmatic sounds deriving from field recordings, instrumental sources (such as acoustic guitars) and synths, which build together repetitive pulsing patterns & hypno-loops that suck you in.
But IOS wouldn't be IOS if it weren't for surprising breaks, cut-ups, crackling sounds and other interferences.... To us, this sounds like 70's psych-space tunes transformed by today's experimental & compositional consciousness..
