Sami Mark Yahya is back! If the name does not ring a bell: we 're talking about Faderhead. Sami let us know that next year in February you can expect a brand new Faderhead album (FH -X), but the recent terror attacks made him release this single now.
No Gods , No Flags , No Bullshit is Faderhead’s response to the recent events in Paris. The song has indeed , as Sami states that same familiar (great) Faderhead sound. You know by now that in 2016 Lush will perform two gigs in the UK (London and Manchester), but that 's not all. In December 4 -AD will release the CD box Chorus that contains five disks, and in an interview with NME Emma Anderson said that the band is working on a new EP and that they quickly found out that they sounded just as (well ) Lush.
Fantastic news! The lineup is not changed. Lush still consists of Emma Anderson, Miki Berenyi and Phil King. On the drums, there is now Justin Welch of Elastica, because the original drummer (Chris Acland ) died in 1996.
Je weet ondertussen wel dat de shoegazeband Lush volgend jaar twee optredens in Engeland (Londen en Manchester) zal geven, maar daar blijft het niet bij. Niet alleen verschijnt in december op 4-AD de cd-box Chorus die uit vijf schijfjes bestaat, in een interview met het Britse blad NME vertelde Emma Anderson dat de band volop bezig is aan de opnames van een nieuwe EP en dat ze vrij vlug tot de vaststelling kwamen dat ze gewoon als (tja) Lush klinken.
Fantastisch nieuws dus! Aan de line-up is niets gewijzigd. Lush bestaat nog altijd uit Emma Anderson, Miki Berenyi en Phil King. Op de drums is er nu Justin Welch (vroeger bij Elastica), omdat de originele drummer (Chris Acland) in 1996 overleed.
Because of the health problems Johan Van Roy has to face these days, 2015 is anything but a happy year , but the Suicide Commando-frontman fortunately also has some good news. Johan already talked about it in our interview, but Electro Convulsion Therapy of 1993 that was released on a tape (containing songs of Critical Stage) is now re-released on the label of Dirk Ivens (Minimal Maximal ) on vinyl, with an additional CD on which the tracks are included that are on the vinyl, but complemented with songs from other (earlier ) tapes.
Be quick, because this gadget is limited on 500 copies, and unfortunately almost sold out by now.

The world never seemed so black as today, but fortunately there is that bright spot named David Bowie. After ten minutes (or earlier) of watching Black Star you know the answer: the new album that will be out on 8th January 8, 2016 probably will be a fantastic one!
Nooit eerder leek de wereld zo zwart als vandaag, maar gelukkig is er nog altijd dat lichtpunt dat David Bowie heet. Na tien minuten (of eerder) na het bekijken van Black Star weet je het antwoord: het nieuwe album dat op 8 januari 2016 verschijnt zou wel eens fantastisch kunnen zijn!
