KMFDM always had enough punk attitude about them and with the dark clouds of the financial crisis gathering again, they re-recorded and reworked one of their famous classic singles 'KMFDM Is The Drug Against War!' to 'KMFDM Is The Drug Against Wall Street!' and this to support the "Occupy Wall Street" movement.

Complete Control Productionsinforms you that they have signed a record deal with the Swedish duo Guilt Trip.
Guilt Trip rose like a virtual phoenix from the ashes of the somewhat celebrated electronic marauder Chirurgie Esthetique that had existed in various forms from 1988 onwards.
Chirurgie Esthetique released some demos, attended a couple of compilations and played at various clubs, opening for bands like And One, Dance Or Die and Oomph! among others.
At the turn of the the millennium, a shift in sound and insight made the band change its name and Guilt Trip was born, in a way even Reborn.
The two members Karl Lindberg (aka KaLi, Cabal and so on) and Magnus Nilsson (aka MaNi, Maggot and so on) started exploring new rhythms, new chants and philosophised with new hammers. Some self-released tracks and virtual albums (e.g. Reborn and Stigmartyr) were well received as were various gigs around
Sweden. Having been joined by guitarist J. Bergman of Man Machine Industry they released the long awaited and much worked on proper debut album Branded on their own label By Revolting Art Productions (BRAP) in 2009.
Promoting the release they did a range of gigs around Sweden and Denmark sometimes joined by other collaborators and noise makers (e.g. The Pain Machinery, Run Level Zero and 8 kHz Mono). Work is completed on a new album where the band took one step back and two steps forward.
Musically that which influences the Guilt Trip range from industrial funk and hard rhythmic electronics to various types of punk, metal and even grindcore but they won't limit themselves to just that. Limits are for cowards.
The upcoming album with Guilt Trip will be released I the beginning of 2012 and a single will be released prior to that.
THISQUIETARMY's newest album RESURGENCE is arguably his most accessible and varied record since his debut album UNCONQUERED. It reveals another step forward into the extension of his signature shoegaze/drone-based compositions, incorporating many different elements of post-rock, post-punk, psyche- delic, krautrock, industrial & doom. As a result, RESURGENCE is an eclectic blend of gauzy textures and rhythms, a fresh reconstruction of his unique musical style and personal influences, and an adventurous ride from one end of the drone spectrum to the other.
RESURGENCE took 4 years to complete, in between THISQUIETARMY's previous outputs which have mainly explored the dark ambient/doom-drone realm since the UNCONQUERED sessions. The bonus disc of the CD and the bonus tracks on the LP and 7'' lay out the amount of compositions that have come through since then. The results can be described as dark, melodic, expansive & engaging dreamscapes.
Guests on the album include: Meryem Yildiz (vocals) on the track 'Gone to the Unseen', Émilie Livernois- Desroches (violin) and Zena Virani (spoken words) appear respectively on the bonus tracks 'Ballad of a Shepherdess' and 'The Cold Vacancy'. James Plotkin mastered the record. All the artwork for the album were illustrated by Mandi A. Morgan.

Absent One, a famous Russian garage-synth band, was formed in 2009, Moscow. It was created by the friends Nick and Alex.
Over the whole year the band was giving concerts all over the state. They drew public attention after performing at the first Russian Goth Festival "Dark Entries".
The debut album "Blowback", released the same year and re-released as a download on Ionium Records in 2011, had a rather specific sound, in a way reminiscent of Covenant, and was favorably received by critics.
The song "Stewardess" was then included in the "Synth Radio Russians" compilation.
The year 2010 showed significant changes both in the music and the style of the performance. Still using pure electronic sound, the band tended to goth, punk and garage genres.
The new backing vocalist Helen introduced cabaret manner into the new sounding. The Track "Hollywood" was included in the "Best Russian Dark Stage artists" compilation.
Absent One continues to perform on a regular basis and the new album "Places" will be released on Ionium Records on October 14th.
Cape Coast Radio is the cheerful playground of Nick Berkvens (ex-Transit). Nick and the brothers Wouter and Lode Vlaeminck (tomàn) immersed themselves in the alter-ego’s Ed the vulture, Ned the rhinoceros and Ted the mandrill, three friends from the African plains. During their travels on the vibrant savannah they recorded their self-titled debut album soaked in African inspired bright indie-pop.
It is as if Vampire Weekend were exposed to the albums of The Notwist, or Yeasayer to those of Pinback, while on a thrilling safari in the heart of the vast savannah.
Already promising finalist of the vi.be select season 2010/2011 on Studio Brussel along with SX and Teddiedrum.
