After the loss of Bjorn and Kai (2011) and singer Jens leaving the band, we were afraid for the future, but nothing to worry about as Funker Vogt 2.0 are back with a new singer who is called Sick Man.
They have a new single out and that makes me happy, simply because I loved the sound and vibe of the last releases in which they returned to their EBM-roots (Hard Way, Blutzoll, Companion In Crime). But it’s better to hold your horses because I have a mixed feeling about this release! They are leaving the path that they chose in recent years
and are returning to their more techno-influenced period! Of course it all sounds very well, simply because it is after all still Funker Vogt, and that is enough to look out for their upcoming full album!
This 5 track CD offers you 2 new songs (Sick Man and The Last Awakening) and 3 mixes!
