If I didn't know what I was listening to, I would think it was finally the newest record of our own gods Front 242. Dream on though, since RESTRICTED AREA is Swedish and was born in 1994! The record is as hard as an EBM Bulldozer can be and as sharp as a fresh forged blade can be. I think our own gods could listen to it and get some idea's. Peter Elm is the main man behind this project, but Emma Johansson additional vocals are definitely a good addition. The EP is so good, that I get into a melancholic state and feel myself warped back in time. Funny thing, on 'Impossible' the Swedish are singing in French, as an almost tribute to Front 242. You really need to give this a listen. While the last song is more of a tribute to And One (just the beats), this is a must have for fans of Front 242!
