Al_x is a one man band from Liverpool. The only member Alex Dumford makes ambient soundscapes that lies between folk and electronica.
On his second album the music sounds mostly like film music. In every song you hear a different landscape, a different scene in a different movie! And on some rare occasions you hear a pop song floating by! A Song like “Foax” could be played on the radio! Other songs reminds me of Thom Yorke’s solo work “Erasur”, I hope for this band that they find a job in the filmindustry.
