The fourth album titled 'BLOOD' is due to come in the autumn. The first single 'The Dead Cry For No One' is out now.
Post punk is dead. But before everyone throws away their JOY DIVISION tote bag, one thing needs to be said: Post punk HAS TO BE dead! Post punk wasn’t created to be alive or to represent vitality. Post punk was, is and stays a view into the void, an echo of a broken world which couldn’t be the same anymore tomorrow. Back in the 80s, maimed crossover artists such as Curtis, Coleman and Smith transformed the atmosphere of an unsure morning into sound and did what THEN COMES SILENCE do nowadays.
The world isn’t in a better condition than in the 80s. Back then, the sabre-rattling monster next to the red button was named Reagan. Today its name is Trump and it tweets about his nuclear desire all over the digital highway, the world builds walls and ducks and stops to breathe. This shattering inhaling, this quiet before the storm is like a post punk nucleus how it was back in the 80s and how it is today - apocalyptically current.
Movies such as »A Clockwork Orange«, graphic novels, classical music and paintings of the old masters give the Swedes a source of never-ending inspiration. He founded THEN COMES SILENCE in 2012 and released the self-titled debut album in the same year yet.

“Belgium is a swamp, a boggy yet fertile ground in which new emergences are never clearly shaped but subtle, drifting just below the land’s muddy surface. They often remain hidden in the midst of a complex ensemble that is often made of chaos and opposition rather than order and harmony.” (Yannick Franck)
From the North to the South of Belgium, a new generation of artists are connecting the dots between classic Belgian Industrial/EBM and the contemporary electronic scenes that have emerged worldwide these last years. A ‘New Belgian Industrialist Movement’ that freely combines elements such as distorted atmospheres, analog pulsations or mantric rhythms, lingering in the grey area between experimental techno and post-industrial music.
National Crime History is a compilation featuring Icon Template, Ripit, Onrust and Orphan Swords. It's curated by Belgian labels Silken Tofu and Idiosyncratics, both known for crossing borders and disregarding genre limitations. The fact that these entities are now joining forces should come as no surprise. They have a long history together on many levels and now emerge as a collective that has been taking shape over the years.

Industrial Rock artists Raymond Watts is the mastermind behind PIG. He was one of the founding member of KMFDM and is responsible for many of their hit songs such as "Juke Joint Jezbel" He has worked with other artists such as Mortiis, Psychic TV, and Chemlab. He has also composed music for several Alexander McQueen's fashion shows and has toured with Nine Inch Nails.
Today Metropolis Records has released his new EP "Prey & Obey".

Indeed, tonight will be the night where the 2017 Dark Demons selection will present themselves before a live audience. Even more, two of tonight's bands will be chosen by the audience to open this year's edition of BIMFEST on December 15th and 16th at De Casino (St-Niklaas - B).

Inderdaad, vannavond is het de avond waarop de Dark Demons 2017 selectie zich zal presenteren voor een levend publiek! Meer nog, twee van deze bands zullen door het aanwezige publiek gekozen worden om het befaamde BIMFEST te openen later dit jaar, op 15 en 16 december, in De Casino (St-Niklaas-B)

Long before the rivalry between Oasis and Blur, Radiohead's breakthrough, the emergence of Manic Street Preachers or the era of Franz Ferdinand and Arctic Monkeys, Primal Scream had set the sound of the British music scene. The band originated after singer Bobby Gillespie quit his job as a drummer with legendary The Jesus & Mary Chain and decided to start his own band. Their breakthrough came with the release of the legendary album Screamadelica (1991), on which Primal Scream flawlessly blended genres like indie, rock, gospel, pop and dance to create their own specific sound but their career did not stop there! In 2000, they still managed to surprise friend and foe with the brilliant album XTRMNTR (which music site Pitchfork decried as "somewhere between the kraut-loving Chemical Brothers and latter-era Fugazi”), last year they released the strong album Chaosmosis. In 2013 Primal Scream played the Lokerse Festivals, a memorable concert which newspaper ‘De Morgen’ rated with four stars and described the gig as: “A top Primal Scream concert, over classing the all competition"), on 16th June they are coming to Borgerhout for YOU!
Support is provided by Manngold. A band Cutting Edge (Magazine) once decried as "uncontrolled trance-a-roll", and that might be spot)-on. So be on time!
Vinyl only DJ Wagonman aka Luc Waegeman (Kinky Star, Needle & The Pain Reaction, SeXmachines,...) spins from his own collection LPs and singles, both famous and underground cult hits.

De band ontstond toen zanger Bobby Gillespie zijn baan als drummer bij het legendarische The Jesus & Mary Chain opzei en een eigen groep begon. Grote doorbraak kwam er met de legendarische plaat Screamadelica (1991), waarop Primal Scream feilloos genres als indie, rock, gospel, pop en dance in de blender gooit om er met een heel eigen geluid uit te komen. Maar hun carrière hield daar niet op.
