Even though politicization never led to anything good, especially with music, I Like Trains, seems to find the best way to speak about the problems of today without making any references to various military conflicts, political meetings and relations between different countries. The Truth they speak about is very general.

They enhance the effect by using repetitive rhythmical structures and making the listeners focus only on the Mark E. Smith-ish type of vocal combined with background sound effects and the sounds of bass guitar. No doubts that it’s a winning combination.
