The first track ‘Svanesang’ is an uppercut and a scary ride of almost thirteen minutes. The drums, played by Wim (Rise and Fall), are an amazing combination, with pretty melodic guitarriffs by Gilles Demolder (Oathbreaker) and the fainthearted screams of vocalist Levy Seynaeve (Hessian, Amenra). Halfway the song everything makes place for an oppressive and ‘calm’ cut scene. Than they go back without boundings till the end. So, we get four mainly black metal songs with some atmospheric pieces in it. The title says it all (it means something like: Dead in the cradle: the dead have a good time): this is not for the faint-hearted among us. But if you can appreciate this genre, than you may be sure that this is good quality. This trio exist of members of other and better known bands and is a successfully combination that may be repeated in future.

Opener ‘Svanesang’ is een mokerslag van jewelste en een bangelijke rit van bijna dertien minuten. De drums door Wim (Rise and Fall) zijn verbluffend met eigenlijk een vrij melodieus gitaarrifje door Gilles Demolder (Oathbreaker) en daar bovenop de bangelijke oerschreeuw van zanger Levy Seynaeve (Hessian, Amenra). Halfweg valt alles stil voor een beklemmend ‘rustig’ tussenstuk. Daarna gaan ze weer loos tot aan het einde. Zo krijgen we vier songs, bestaande uit voornamelijk black metal en atmosferische stukjes. De titel verraadt het al: dit is niet voor tere zieltjes. Maar als je dit genre kan appreciëren, dan is dit een aanrader. Dit trio, bestaande uit leden van bekendere bands, is een geslaagd project en het is voor herhaling vatbaar.
