KMFDM

KMFDM has come a long way when you look back to their musical evolution and style changes. From minimal electro-acoustic experiments over pounding EBM-ish cross-over to non-compromising Industrial Metal. Fans also know KMFDM never feared releasing remixes crossing and exploring the boundaries of different styles. The title of this release tells it all, KMFDM in Dub, and this is what you get! 12 tracks selected from their entire back-catalogue underwent a serious Dub treatment. Complete with deep subby bass-lines, rhythm guitars and of course the obligated brass passages. In my humble opinion they did a very good job resulting in various interesting and mesmerizing versions, even though I'm not a particular Dub loving person. Not sure if the KMFDM fans will dig this album but I'm sure the band had a lot of fun producing it. KMFDM in Dub gives one the perfect soundtrack to trip-away in their couch or the perfect excuse to introduce KMDFM's music (in the background?) to family parties! KMFDM doing it again, be it completely different! Give it a try!
