This fairly new electronic female fronted band from Copenhagen, with some Danish-Canadian roots play a form of dark pop with influences from both techno and old school electro.
They present their music on this download single that has two tracks on it. First comes the song Citadel by Neonsol, while the second one is remixed by Claus Larsen who (of course!) we all know from Leather Strip!
Neonsol’s story begins in 2009 when Nina (vocals) and Jesper(synth) started to created music, while in 2012 they were joined by Frederic (production and live drums)!
The music sounds very clean, quite poppy, catchy and easy to sing-a-long or to say it shorter: a real dance floor filler! Well, maybe a bit too poppy for the darker parties! The remix from Claus Larsen is almost the same but with less sound effects on the vocals and a more EBM vibe! Don’t ask me to pick favourite: I like them both!
If you are interested they will release their first full album Ecliptic on Analog Thrash Records! I hope you will enjoy it: so stay tuned and have fun!
