DEVILSIGHT

" Nosotros somos los hijos de la Violencia - por que es el pan que comemos día a día" (We are the children of the Violence - that is our food of everyday). Kidnapped students, drug wars, murders, corrupt politicians and people living in poverty in the suburbs of the giant city of Mexico City and the country in general. That’s what people here in Europe think of when they hear the word “Mexico”. And it’s not that far-fetched. But there are lots of Mexicans fighting for freedom, justice and dreaming of a bit more prosperity. An every-day fight one way or another.

Frustrated by all the unjust things happening in their country, Baltazar (sequences), Stan (samples, lyrics and vocals) and Mercy (keyboard) founded “Devilsight” in 2009. They decided to spit their anger out via Hard Electro music. So far “Devilsight” featured a couple of Latin American, Russian and German Electro compilations as well as remixes for German projects such as Stahlnebel & Black Selket. In 2010 they released the album “Atracción Parásita” and in 2011 two singles (“La Ceguera & “Del Cartel”). The single “Crear Dos Canciones” was published in 2013. At the end of May 2015 the latest album “Luna” is being released by Advoxya Records. Also a promotion tour is planned. There’ll be shows in Puebla in June and in Tepoztlan in July. More shows, for example in Toluca or the country of Equador are still to be announced.
