Any Second has been running since 2009. Today, the lineup consists of Oliver Senger, Thomas Beschoner and Jan Kluge (founding member). On Infacted Recordings they released Nicht Allein.
3 solid dark electro songs, founded on the basic ingredients: solid beats, cutting melody and an abrasive voice.
Nicht Allein is a master sampler of stature. Solid rhythm, sneaky tempo changes, hooked to a thumping bass line that endlessly multiplies itself. This is a dancefloor killer as far as I'm concerned. It's still manageable for a 50-something like me. More of the same with Out Of Control. Any Second has the dark flair of many in the genre, but really makes them sound contemporary.
As a side note, a Vainerz remix of Nicht Allein. That one sounds a little more electronic than the original dark electro song. A distinct sound that does fill the space nicely.

Any Second draait al mee sedert 2009. Op vandaag bestaat de bezetting uit Oliver Senger, Thomas Beschoner en Jan Kluge (stichtend lid). Op Infacted Recordings verscheen Nicht Allein.
3 stevige dark electro songs, gestoeld op de basis ingrediënten: stevige beats, snedige melodie en een schurende stem.
Nicht Allein is een meestamper van formaat. Stevig ritme, sneaky tempowisseligen, vastgehaakt aan een dreunende baslijn die zichzelf eindeloos vermenigvuldigt. Dit is een dancefloorkiller wat mij betreft. Het is nog behapbaar voor een 50-er zoals ik. Meer van hetzelfde bij Out Of Control. Any Second heeft de donkere flair van velen in het genre, maar laten die echt wel hedendaags klinken.
Als toemaatje een Vainerz-remix van Nicht Allein. Die klinkt iets meer electronic dan de originele dark electro song. Een aparte sound, die wel lekker de ruimte vult.
