MiXE1 (pronounced: Mikes 1) is an electro-rock project from the UK boasting a wide range of influences from pop through to metal. Passionate vocals, hooky melodies and synth layered backdrops make up the distinctive sound with all songs set in a futuristic city of the same name - neon dreams and haunting emotions. Starlit Skin-The upcoming debut album looks to make a big impression from the get go. From the punchy hard-rock edge of “Image”, catchy electronic-rock driven sound of “Here” or the epic qualities of “Airwaves”-each song delivers high emotions, hooky melodies and comes together to form an album that anybody can find something positive in.

Well, I can confirm every word of the promo talk. The harder tracks remind me a bit of Essence of Mind. The most agressive track and most into metal is 'All 4U' (with a raging an screaming voice). More rocking, but also great are 'Break you down' & W'eve changed'. There are also 2 ballads 'Airwaves' & Starlit Skin' with a nice melancholic voice.

'Here' is a nice electro rocker with a melancholic sound.

'Talking in Our sleep' gets 2 versions. I like the Beat version for the extra female voice in back. The other one is a great mix of guitars & electro.

It's a great one, for sure! I hope these guys reach out further and grow more! I'm wishing them all the best! They can send me the next one! As it's their first one it already reaches a high level: like gold!
