Whitewaits is the sideproject from Rob Rowe, the frontman of Cause and Effect. In July this year, the first album was released, named : “An Elegant Exit”.
As always new releases from long career bands have high expectations. Fans are hoping anxious to hear their idols, trying to be updated about their fave musicians. In this case it's all about Cause and Effect as they're one of the most important synthpopbands of the 90's. So yes, this sideproject surely will attract the attention of all synthpoplovers.
An Elegant Exit shows the maturity and experience of a great musician, merging elements of synthpop and melodic rock. This album has a tuneful plot and musical wealth that Rowe gets in his music. As a solo project it contains a very emotional content as Rowe poured his feelings in this album, putting in each song a deep personal meaning.
Whitewaits keeps the essence of Cause and Effect alive and even addis it to a higher atmosphere. A very recommendable album it is, not only for synthpoplovers, but also for those who wants to find deepest meanings and high quality in music.
